1Ouve-me cantar louvores a ti, ó Luz das luzes. Ouve-me proferir a penitência pelo décimo terceiro éon, a região da qual desci, para que a décima terceira penitência do décimo terceiro éon seja cumprida,—aqueles éons que ultrapassei e dos quais desci.

1Hearken unto me singing praises unto thee, O Light of lights. Hearken unto me uttering the repentance for the thirteenth aeon, the region out of which I have come down, in order that the thirteenth repentance of the thirteenth aeon may be accomplished,--those aeons which I have overstepped and out of which I have come down.

2Agora, pois, ó Luz das luzes, ouve-me cantar louvores a ti no décimo terceiro éon, a minha região da qual desci.

2Now, therefore, O Light of lights, hearken unto me singing praises unto thee in the thirteenth aeon, my region out of which I have come down.

3Salva-me, ó Luz, no teu grande mistério e perdoa a minha transgressão no teu perdão.

3Save me, O Light, in thy great mystery and forgive my transgression in thy forgiveness.

4E concede-me o batismo, perdoa os meus pecados e purifica-me da minha transgressão.

4And give unto me the baptism and forgive my sins and purify me from my transgression.

5E a minha transgressão é o poder de face de leão, o qual nunca estará oculto de ti; pois por causa dele desci.

5And my transgression is the lion-faced power, which will never be hidden from thee; for because of it have I gone down.

6Compadece-te de mim, ó Deus, segundo a tua grande graça; segundo a multidão das tuas misericórdias, apaga o meu pecado.

6Be gracious unto me, O God, according to thy great grace; according to the fulness of thy mercy blot out my sin.

7Lava-me completamente da minha iniquidade.

7Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.

8E esteja o meu pecado sempre diante de ti.

8And may my sin be ever present to thee,
