1Sucedeu então que os discípulos se sentaram no Monte das Oliveiras a falar sobre estas palavras.

1It came to pass then that the disciples sat on the Mount of Olives speaking about these words.

2Regozijando-se com grande satisfação, diziam uns aos outros: 'Bem-aventurados somos antes de todos os homens da Terra.'

2Rejoicing with great satisfaction, they said to one another: 'Blessed are we before all men on Earth.'

3'Porque o Salvador isto nos revelou e porque recebemos a plenitude do fim total.'

3'Because the Savior has revealed this to us and because we have received the fullness of the total end.'

4Jesus sentava-se um pouco afastado deles.

4Jesus sat a little apart from them.

5E sucedeu então no Décimo Quinto dia da lua, no mês de Tybi, que é o dia de lua cheia.

5And it came to pass then on the Fifteenth day of the moon, in the month of Tybi, which is the day of the full moon.

6Quando o sol havia aparecido no seu curso regular, apareceu por detrás dele uma Grande Força.

6When the sun had appeared in its regular course, there appeared behind it a Great Power.

7E os discípulos ficaram maravilhados com a visão da Luz.

7And the disciples marveled at the vision of the Light.
