1"E deixei aquela região para trás e subi aos grandes éons dos governantes, chegando diante dos seus véus e das suas portas, resplandecendo com imenso fulgor, e não havia medida para a luz que me cercava. Aconteceu então que, quando cheguei aos doze éons, os seus véus e as suas portas estremeceram uns contra os outros. Os seus véus se afastaram espontaneamente e as suas portas se abriram umas diante das outras. E entrei nos éons, resplandecendo com supremo fulgor, e não havia medida para a luz que brilhava ao meu redor, quarenta e nove vezes maior do que a luz com que eu brilhara nas moradas do Destino.

1"And I left that region behind me and ascended to the great æons of the rulers and came before their veils and their gates, shining most exceedingly, and there was no measure for the light which was about me. It came to pass then, when I arrived at the twelve æons, that their veils and their gates were shaken one over against the other. Their veils drew themselves apart of their own accord, and their gates opened one over against the other. And I entered into the æons, shining most exceedingly, and there was no measure for the light that was about me, forty-and-nine times more than the light with which I shone in the houses of the Fate.

2"E todos os anjos dos éons, com os seus arcanjos, os seus governantes, os seus deuses, os seus senhores, as suas autoridades, os seus tiranos, os seus poderes, as suas centelhas de luz, os seus luzeiros, os seus desemparelhados, os seus invisíveis, os seus antepassados e os seus poderes triplos viram-me resplandecer com grande glória, e não havia medida para a luz que me cercava. E caíram em perturbação uns contra os outros e grande temor desceu sobre eles, ao contemplarem a majestosa luz que me envolvia. E em sua imensa perturbação e grande temor, retiraram-se até a região do grande Antepassado invisível e dos três grandes poderes triplos.

2"And all the angels of the æons and their archangels and their rulers and their gods and their lords and their authorities and their tyrants and their powers and their light-sparks and their light-givers and their unpaired and their invisibles and their forefathers and their triple-powers saw me, shining most exceedingly, and there was no measure for the light which was about me. And they were thrown into agitation the one over against the other and great fear fell upon them, when they saw the great light that was about me. And in their great agitation and their great fear they withdrew as far as the region of the great invisible Forefather, and of the three great triple-powers.

3"E por causa do grande pavor e da sua perturbação, o grande Antepassado, ele e os três poderes triplos, andavam correndo de um lado para o outro na sua região, e não puderam fechar todas as suas regiões por causa do grande medo em que se achavam. E abalaram todos os seus éons juntos, todas as suas esferas e todas as suas ordens, temendo e tremendo em grande agitação por causa da grande luz que brilhava ao redor de mim — não da qualidade anterior, quando eu estava na terra dos homens e a veste de luz descera sobre mim, pois o mundo não suportaria a luz tal como é na sua verdade, de outro modo seria destruído num instante com tudo o que nele há —, mas a luz que estava sobre mim nos doze éons era oito mil e setecentas miríades de vezes maior do que aquela que me cercava no mundo entre vós."

3"And because of the great fear of their agitation, the great Forefather, he and the three triple-powers, kept on running hither and thither in his region, and they could not close all their regions because of the great fear in which they were. And they agitated all their æons together and all their spheres and all their orders, fearing and being greatly agitated because of the great light which was about me--not of the former quality that it was about me when I was on the earth of mankind, when the light-vesture came over me,--for the world could not bear the light such as it was in its truth, else would the world at once be destroyed and all upon it,--but the light which was about me in the twelve æons was eight-thousand-and-seven-hundred-myriad times greater than that which was about me in the world among you."
