1Os discípulos alegraram-se com grande regozijo e disseram: "Bem-aventurados somos nós, ó Senhor, porque nos revelaste estes grandes mistérios.

1The disciples rejoiced with great joy and said: "Blessed are we, O Lord, that thou hast revealed unto us these great mysteries.

2"Pois agora sabemos que a Luz é o nosso libertador, e que por meio da tua santa palavra venceremos o mundo e todos os poderes das trevas."

2"For now we know that the Light is our deliverer, and that through thy holy word we shall conquer the world and all the powers of darkness."

3Jesus respondeu: "Bem-aventurados sois vós que credes e obedeceis, porque grande é o vosso galardão no Reino de meu Pai."

3Jesus answered: "Blessed are ye who believe and obey, for your reward is great in the Kingdom of my Father."
