1Maria disse: "Senhor meu, se um homem recebeu os mistérios da Luz e depois voltou ao pecado e morreu sem se arrepender, o que lhe sucederá?"

1Mary said: "My Lord, if a man hath received the mysteries of the Light and thereafter hath fallen back into sin and died without repenting, what will befall him?"

2Jesus respondeu: "O homem que recebeu os mistérios e se voltou para a iniquidade, o seu julgamento é maior do que o de todos os outros.

2Jesus answered: "A man who hath received the mysteries and hath turned back unto wickedness, his judgment is greater than the judgment of all others.

3"Pois conheceu o caminho da verdade e calcou aos pés o santo mistério. Os recebedores do Primeiro Mistério tomarão a sua alma e lançá-la-ão no caos mais profundo.

3"For he hath known the way of truth and hath trodden underfoot the holy mystery. The receivers of the First Mystery will take his soul and cast it into the deepest chaos.

4"E mistério algum lhe valerá, a não ser tão-somente o supremo mistério do Inefável, se ele se converter com lágrimas e profundo pranto."

4"And no mystery will avail him, save only the supreme mystery of the Ineffable, if he turneth with tears and profound lamentation."
