1Depois de algum tempo, veio o Mestre da torre. E ele era tão alto que ultrapassava a torre em altura. E ele estava vestido com um manto de puro linho.

1After some time, the Master of the tower came. And he was so tall that he surpassed the tower in height. And he was dressed in a robe of pure linen.

2Ele examinou a construção com grande cuidado e tocou cada pedra com um cajado que tinha na mão.

2He examined the construction with great care and touched each stone with a staff he had in his hand.

3E quando ele tocava as pedras, algumas tornavam-se pretas, outras mofadas, outras com fendas. E ele ordenou que estas pedras fossem tiradas da torre e levadas de volta para o lugar de onde vieram.

3And when he touched the stones, some became black, others moldy, others with crevices. And he ordered these stones to be taken from the tower and carried back to the place from which they came.
