1Mas não é só por isso que Deus está irado contigo, mas também porque toleras que tua casa cometa tamanha iniquidade contra o Senhor e contra seus pais.

1But it is not only for this that God is angry with you, but also because you tolerate that your house commits such iniquity against the Lord and against its parents.

2Por que não os admoestaste? Tens afeição por teus filhos e não os corrigiste, mas deixaste que se corrompessem terrivelmente.

2Why did you not admonish them? You have affection for your children and did not correct them, but let them become terribly corrupt.

3Por isso o Senhor está irado contigo. Mas ele curará todos os males que foram cometidos em tua casa.

3Therefore the Lord is angry with you. But he will heal all the evils that were committed in your house.

4Porque por causa de seus pecados e iniquidades, tu foste arruinado nos negócios do mundo.

4Because on account of their sins and iniquities, you were ruined in the affairs of the world.
