1Vi a glória do Senhor e o esplendor de sua habitação.

1I saw the glory of the Lord and the splendor of his habitation.

2E entendi que há recompensas para os justos e punição para os ímpios.

2And I understood that there are rewards for the righteous and punishment for the wicked.

3O Senhor julga a todos segundo suas obras.

3The Lord judges everyone according to their works.

4E dá a cada um segundo seus méritos, neste mundo e no vindouro.

4And gives to each according to their merits, in this world and in the world to come.
