1Cuidado para que não seja inconveniente repudiar tua própria lei. Porque se quiseres voltar a tua cidade, certamente não serás recebido.

1Beware lest it be inconvenient to repudiate your own law. Because if you want to return to your city, you will certainly not be received.

2Porque repudiaste a lei de tua cidade e serás expulso dela.

2Because you repudiated the law of your city and will be expelled from it.

3Cuidado, portanto; habitando em terra estrangeira, não prepares para ti nada mais além do necessário que for suficiente para ti.

3Beware, therefore; dwelling in a foreign land, prepare for yourself nothing more than the necessary that is sufficient for you.

4E fica pronto para que, quando o senhor desta cidade quiser expulsar-te por resistires à sua lei, possas sair desta cidade e ir para tua própria cidade.

4And be ready so that, when the lord of this city wants to expel you for resisting his law, you may leave this city and go to your own city.
