1DÉCIMO SEGUNDO MANDAMENTO: Disse-me: Remove de ti todo mau desejo, e reveste-te do desejo bom e santo.

1TWELFTH COMMANDMENT: He said to me: Remove from yourself every evil desire, and clothe yourself with good and holy desire.

2Porque vestido deste desejo, odiarás os maus desejos, e os refrearás como quiseres. Porque o mau desejo é selvagem e só é domado com dificuldade.

2Because clothed with this desire, you will hate evil desires, and you will bridle them as you wish. Because evil desire is wild and only tamed with difficulty.

3Porque é terrível, e pela sua selvageria consome muito os homens. Especialmente se um servo de Deus cair nele e não for prudente.

3Because it is terrible, and by its savagery consumes men much. Especially if a servant of God falls into it and is not prudent.

4Ele é consumido por ele. Mas ele consome os que não têm a veste do desejo bom, mas estão envolvidos neste mundo. Estes ele entrega à morte.

4He is consumed by it. But it consumes those who do not have the garment of good desire, but are involved in this world. These it delivers to death.
