1QUINTO MANDAMENTO: Sê longânimo, disse ele, e prudente, e dominarás todas as más ações e farás toda justiça.
1FIFTH COMMANDMENT: Be long-suffering, he said, and prudent, and you will master all evil deeds and do all righteousness.
2Porque se fores longânimo, o Espírito Santo que habita em ti será puro, não sendo obscurecido por outro espírito mau.
2Because if you are long-suffering, the Holy Spirit who dwells in you will be pure, not being obscured by another evil spirit.
3Habitando em um lugar espaçoso, ele se regozijará e se alegrará com o vaso em que habita, e servirá a Deus em muita alegria, tendo prosperidade em si mesmo.
3Dwelling in a spacious place, he will rejoice and be glad with the vessel in which he dwells, and will serve God in much joy, having prosperity in himself.
4Mas se vier alguma impetuosidade, imediatamente o Espírito Santo, sendo delicado, é oprimido, não tendo um lugar limpo, e procura partir do lugar.
4But if any impetuosity comes, immediately the Holy Spirit, being delicate, is oppressed, not having a clean place, and seeks to depart from the place.
