1Mas das outras pedras trazidas da terra, algumas eram rejeitadas, outras eram colocadas na construção, e outras eram cortadas em pedaços e jogadas longe da torre.

1But of the other stones brought from the earth, some were rejected, others were placed in the building, and others were cut into pieces and thrown far from the tower.

2Muitas outras pedras jaziam ao redor da torre e não eram usadas para a construção; pois algumas eram manchadas, outras tinham rachaduras.

2Many other stones lay around the tower and were not used for the construction; for some were stained, others had cracks.

3Outras eram muito curtas, outras eram brancas e redondas e não serviam para a construção.

3Others were too short, others were white and round and did not fit the construction.

4E eu vi outras pedras sendo lançadas longe da torre, caindo no caminho e não permanecendo no caminho, mas rolando do caminho para um lugar intransitável.

4And I saw other stones being thrown far from the tower, falling on the path and not remaining on the path, but rolling off the path into an impassable place.
