1No que toca à inspiração divina do Livro do Apocalipse, julgamos supérfluo acrescentar qualquer palavra; porquanto os bem-aventurados Gregório Teólogo e Cirilo, e homens ainda mais antigos, como Papias, Irineu, Metódio e Hipólito, deram testemunho inteiramente satisfatório da sua autoridade sagrada.

1With regard to the inspiration of the Book of Revelation, we deem it superfluous to add another word; for the blessed Gregory Theologian and Cyril, and even men of still older date, Papias, Irenaeus, Methodius, and Hippolytus, bore entirely satisfactory testimony to its divine authority.
