Oséias 3

1E o SENHOR me disse: Vai outra vez, ama uma mulher, amada de seu amigo, contudo adúltera, como o SENHOR ama os filhos de Israel, embora eles olhem para outros deuses, e amem os bolos de uvas.

1Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of {her} friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. {of wine: Heb. of grapes}

2E comprei-a para mim por quinze peças de prata, e um ômer, e meio ômer de cevada;

2So I bought her to me for fifteen {pieces} of silver, and {for} an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: {half...: Heb. lethech}

3E ele lhe disse: Tu ficarás comigo muitos dias; não te prostituirás, nem serás de outro homem; assim também eu esperarei por ti.

3And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for {another} man: so {will} I also {be} for thee.

4Porque os filhos de Israel ficarão por muitos dias sem rei, e sem príncipe, e sem sacrifício, e sem estátua, e sem éfode ou terafim.

4For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and {without} teraphim: {image: Heb. a standing, or, statue, or, pillar}

5Depois tornarão os filhos de Israel, e buscarão ao Senhor seu Deus, e a Davi, seu rei; e temerão ao Senhor, e à sua bondade, no fim dos dias.

5Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
