1Como a ira do Altíssimo é contra os ímpios, assim é sua bondade para com os piedosos.

1As the wrath of the Most High is against the wicked, so is his goodness toward the pious.

2Seu amor é imenso para aquele que o ama.

2His love is immense for the one who loves him.

3Ele é como o sol que nasce sobre a face da terra.

3He is like the sun that rises upon the face of the earth.

4Seus olhos iluminam o dia.

4His eyes illumine the day.

5Minha face foi iluminada por seu santo dia.

5My face was illumined by his holy day.

6Eu recebi o conhecimento do Altíssimo, e ele foi como um rio de deleite.

6I received the knowledge of the Most High, and it was like a river of delight.

7E todos os sedentos sobre a terra beberam dele, e a sede foi aliviada e apaziguada.

7And all the thirsty upon the earth drank from it, and thirst was relieved and quenched.
