1Eu te agradeço, ó Senhor, porque te amo.

1I thank you, O Lord, because I love you.

2Ó Altíssimo, não me abandones, pois tu és minha esperança.

2O Most High, do not abandon me, for you are my hope.

3Gratuitamente recebi tua graça; viverei por ela.

3Freely I received your grace; I shall live by it.

4Virão sobre mim meus perseguidores, mas não me verão.

4My persecutors will come upon me, but they shall not see me.

5Uma nuvem de escuridão cairá sobre seus olhos.

5A cloud of darkness shall fall upon their eyes.

6E uma névoa de trevas os obscurecerá.

6And a mist of darkness shall obscure them.

7E não terão nenhuma luz para ver, e não poderão me alcançar.

7And they shall have no light to see, and they shall not be able to catch me.
