Odes de Salomão 42

1Estendi minhas mãos e me aproximei do meu Senhor, pois a expansão das minhas mãos é o seu sinal.

1I stretched out my hands and approached my Lord, for the stretching out of my hands is his sign.

2E minha extensão é a cruz ereta, que foi levantada no caminho do Justo.

2And my extension is the upright cross, that was lifted up on the way of the Righteous One.

3E tornei-me inútil para aqueles que não me conheciam, porque me esconderei daqueles que não me possuíram.

3And I became useless to those who knew me not, because I will hide myself from those who possessed me not.

4E estarei com aqueles que me amam.

4And I will be with those who love me.

5Todos os meus perseguidores morreram, e eles me buscaram, eles que declararam contra mim, porque estou vivo.

5All my persecutors have died, and they sought me, they who declared against me, because I am living.

6Então levantei-me e estou com eles, e falarei por suas bocas.

6Then I rose up and am with them, and will speak by their mouths.

7Pois rejeitaram aqueles que os perseguem; e joguei sobre eles o jugo do meu amor.

7For they rejected those who persecute them; and I threw over them the yoke of my love.

8Como o braço do noivo sobre a noiva, assim é meu jugo sobre aqueles que me conhecem.

8Like the arm of the bridegroom over the bride, so is my yoke over those who know me.

9E como a câmara nupcial é estendida pela casa do par nupcial, assim é meu amor por aqueles que creem em mim.

9And as the bridal chamber is spread in the house of the bridal pair, so is my love over those who believe in me.

10Não fui rejeitado embora fosse considerado ser, e não pereci embora pensassem isso de mim.

10I was not rejected though I was considered to be so, and I did not perish though they thought it of me.

11O Sheol me viu e foi despedaçado, e a Morte me ejetou e muitos comigo.

11Sheol saw me and was shattered, and Death ejected me and many with me.

12Fui vinagre e amargura para ele, e desci com ele até a sua profundidade.

12I was vinegar and bitterness to it, and I went down with it to the depth of Sheol.

13Então os pés e a cabeça ele soltou, porque não foi capaz de suportar minha face.

13Then the feet and the head it released, for it was not able to endure my face.

14E fiz uma congregação de vivos entre seus mortos; e falei com eles por lábios vivos; a fim de que minha palavra não fosse inútil.

14And I made a congregation of living among its dead; and I spoke with them by living lips; in order that my word might not be void.

15E aqueles que tinham morrido correram em minha direção; e clamaram e disseram, Filho de Deus, tem piedade de nós.

15And those who had died ran toward me; and they cried out and said, Son of God, have pity on us.

16E lida conosco de acordo com tua bondade, e tira-nos dos laços da escuridão.

16And deal with us according to your kindness, and bring us out from the bonds of darkness.

17E abre para nós a porta pela qual possamos sair para ti; pois percebemos que nossa morte não te toca.

17And open for us the door by which we may come out to you; for we perceive that our death does not touch you.

18Que também sejamos salvos contigo, porque tu és nosso Salvador.

18May we also be saved with you, because you are our Savior.

19Então ouvi a voz deles, e coloquei a fé deles no meu coração.

19Then I heard their voice, and placed their faith in my heart.

20E coloquei meu nome sobre a cabeça deles, porque são livres e são meus. Aleluia.

20And I placed my name upon their head, because they are free and they are mine. Hallelujah.
