Odes de Salomão 35

1As chuvas gentis do Senhor me cobriram com serenidade, e fizeram uma nuvem de paz subir sobre minha cabeça;

1The gentle rains of the Lord covered me with serenity, and made a cloud of peace rise above my head;

2Para que pudesse me guardar em todos os tempos. E tornou-se salvação para mim.

2That it might guard me at all times. And it became salvation to me.

3Todos ficaram perturbados e com medo, e veio deles fumaça e julgamento.

3All were disturbed and afraid, and smoke and judgment came from them.

4Mas eu estava tranquilo na legião do Senhor; mais do que sombra era ele para mim, e mais do que fundamento.

4But I was quiet in the legion of the Lord; more than shade was he to me, and more than foundation.

5E fui carregado como uma criança por sua mãe; e ele me deu leite, o orvalho do Senhor.

5And I was carried like a child by its mother; and he gave me milk, the dew of the Lord.

6E fui enriquecido pelo seu favor, e descansei em sua perfeição.

6And I was enriched by his favor, and rested in his perfection.

7E estendi minhas mãos na ascensão de mim mesmo, e dirigi-me em direção ao Altíssimo, e fui redimido em direção a ele. Aleluia.

7And I stretched out my hands in the ascent of myself, and directed myself toward the Most High, and was redeemed toward him. Hallelujah.
