Odes de Salomão 33

1Mas novamente a Graça foi rápida e dispensou o Corruptor, e desceu sobre ele para renunciá-lo.

1But again Grace was swift and dispelled the Corruptor, and descended upon him to renounce him.

2E ele causou destruição total diante dele, e corrompeu toda a sua obra.

2And he caused complete destruction before him, and corrupted all his work.

3E ele ficou no pico de um cume e gritou alto de uma extremidade da terra à outra.

3And he stood on the peak of a summit and cried aloud from one end of the earth to the other.

4Então ele atraiu para si todos aqueles que o obedeciam, pois não aparecia como o Maligno.

4Then he drew to himself all those who obeyed him, for he did not appear as the Evil One.

5No entanto, a Virgem perfeita ficou, que estava pregando e convocando e dizendo:

5However, the perfect Virgin stood, who was preaching and summoning and saying:

6Ó vós filhos dos homens, retornai, e vós filhas deles, vinde.

6O you sons of men, return, and you their daughters, come.

7E deixai os caminhos daquele Corruptor, e aproximai-vos de mim.

7And leave the ways of that Corruptor, and approach me.

8E entrarei em vós, e vos trarei para fora da destruição, e vos farei sábios nos caminhos da verdade.

8And I will enter into you, and bring you out of destruction, and make you wise in the ways of truth.

9Não sejais corrompidos nem pereçais.

9Be not corrupted nor perish.

10Obedecei-me e sede salvos, pois estou proclamando a vós a graça de Deus.

10Obey me and be saved, for I am proclaiming to you the grace of God.

11E através de mim sereis salvos e vos tornareis abençoados. Eu sou vosso juiz;

11And through me you will be saved and become blessed. I am your judge;

12E aqueles que me vestiram não serão falsamente acusados, mas possuirão incorrupção no novo mundo.

12And those who have put me on shall not be falsely accused, but shall possess incorruption in the new world.

13Meus eleitos andaram comigo, e meus caminhos farei conhecidos àqueles que me buscam; e prometerei a eles meu nome. Aleluia.

13My elect have walked with me, and my ways I will make known to those who seek me; and I will promise them my name. Hallelujah.
