Odes de Salomão 29

1O Senhor é minha esperança, não me envergonharei dele.

1The Lord is my hope, I shall not be ashamed of him.

2Pois de acordo com seu louvor ele me fez, e de acordo com sua graça assim mesmo ele me deu.

2For according to his praise he made me, and according to his grace so he gave to me.

3E de acordo com suas misericórdias ele me exaltou, e de acordo com sua grande honra ele me levantou.

3And according to his mercies he exalted me, and according to his great honor he lifted me up.

4E ele me fez ascender das profundezas do Sheol, e da boca da morte ele me tirou.

4And he made me ascend from the depths of Sheol, and from the mouth of death he drew me.

5E humilhei meus inimigos, e ele me justificou por sua graça.

5And I humbled my enemies, and he justified me by his grace.

6Pois acreditei no Messias do Senhor, e considerei que ele é o Senhor.

6For I believed in the Messiah of the Lord, and considered that he is the Lord.

7E ele revelou a mim seu sinal, e me guiou por sua luz.

7And he revealed to me his sign, and led me by his light.

8E me deu o cetro de seu poder, para que eu pudesse subjugar os dispositivos do povo, e humilhar o poder dos poderosos.

8And he gave me the scepter of his power, that I might subdue the devices of the people, and humble the power of the powerful.

9Para fazer guerra por sua Palavra, e tomar vitória por seu poder.

9To make war by his Word, and take victory by his power.

10E o Senhor derrubou meu inimigo por sua Palavra, e ele tornou-se como o pó que uma brisa carrega.

10And the Lord overthrew my enemy by his Word, and he became like the dust that a breeze carries.

11E dei louvor ao Altíssimo, porque ele magnificou seu servo e o filho de sua serva. Aleluia.

11And I gave praise to the Most High, because he magnified his servant and the son of his handmaid. Hallelujah.
