Odes de Salomão 26

1Derramei louvor ao Senhor, porque sou dele.

1I poured out praise to the Lord, because I am his.

2E recitarei sua santa ode, porque meu coração está com ele.

2And I will recite his holy ode, because my heart is with him.

3Pois sua harpa está em minha mão, e as odes de seu descanso não silenciarão.

3For his harp is in my hand, and the odes of his rest shall not be silent.

4Clamarei a ele com todo o meu coração, louvá-lo-ei e exaltá-lo-ei com todos os meus membros.

4I will cry to him with my whole heart, I will praise him and exalt him with all my members.

5Pois do Oriente e até o Ocidente é o seu louvor;

5For from the East and unto the West is his praise;

6Também do Sul e até o Norte é a sua ação de graças.

6Also from the South and unto the North is his thanksgiving.

7Mesmo do cume dos picos e até sua extremidade é a sua perfeição.

7Even from the summit of the peaks and unto their extremity is his perfection.

8Quem pode escrever as odes do Senhor, ou quem pode lê-las?

8Who can write the odes of the Lord, or who can read them?

9Ou quem pode treinar-se para a vida, para que ele mesmo possa ser salvo?

9Or who can train himself for life, that he himself may be saved?

10Ou quem pode pressionar sobre o Altíssimo, para que ele recite de sua boca?

10Or who can press upon the Most High, that he may recite from his mouth?

11Quem pode interpretar as maravilhas do Senhor? Embora aquele que interpreta seja destruído, ainda assim o que foi interpretado permanecerá.

11Who can interpret the wonders of the Lord? Though he who interprets be destroyed, yet that which was interpreted will remain.

12Pois basta perceber e estar satisfeito, pois os odistas permanecem em serenidade;

12For it is enough to perceive and be satisfied, for the odists stand in serenity;

13Como um rio que tem uma fonte cada vez mais jorrante, e flui para o alívio daqueles que o buscam. Aleluia.

13Like a river which has an ever increasingly gushing spring, and flows to the relief of those who seek it. Hallelujah.
