Odes de Salomão 25

1Fui resgatado das minhas correntes, e fugi para ti, ó meu Deus.

1I was rescued from my bonds, and fled to you, O my God.

2Porque tu és a mão direita da salvação, e meu Ajudador.

2Because you are the right hand of salvation, and my Helper.

3Restringiste aqueles que se levantam contra mim, e não foram mais vistos.

3You have restrained those who rise up against me, and they were not seen anymore.

4Porque tua face estava comigo, a qual me salvou por tua graça.

4Because your face was with me, which saved me by your grace.

5Mas fui desprezado e rejeitado aos olhos de muitos, e fui aos seus olhos como chumbo.

5But I was despised and rejected in the eyes of many, and I was in their eyes as lead.

6E adquiri força de ti, e ajuda.

6And I acquired strength from you, and help.

7Uma lâmpada puseste para mim tanto à minha direita quanto à minha esquerda, para que não houvesse em mim nada que não fosse luz.

7A lamp you set for me both at my right hand and at my left, that there might be in me nothing that is not light.

8E fui coberto com a cobertura do teu Espírito, e removi de mim minhas vestes de pele.

8And I was covered with the covering of your Spirit, and I removed from me my garments of skin.

9Porque tua mão direita me exaltou, e fez a doença passar de mim.

9Because your right hand exalted me, and made sickness pass from me.

10E tornei-me poderoso em tua verdade, e santo em tua justiça.

10And I became mighty in your truth, and holy in your righteousness.

11E todos os meus adversários tiveram medo de mim, e tornei-me do Senhor pelo nome do Senhor.

11And all my adversaries were afraid of me, and I became the Lord's by the name of the Lord.

12E fui justificado pela sua bondade, e seu descanso é para todo o sempre. Aleluia.

12And I was justified by his kindness, and his rest is forever and ever. Hallelujah.
