Odes de Salomão 20

1Eu sou um sacerdote do Senhor, e a ele sirvo como sacerdote;

1I am a priest of the Lord, and to him I serve as a priest;

2E a ele ofereço a oferta do seu pensamento.

2And to him I offer the offering of his thought.

3Pois seu pensamento não é como o mundo, nem como a carne, nem como aqueles que adoram segundo a carne.

3For his thought is not like the world, nor like the flesh, nor like those who worship according to the flesh.

4A oferta do Senhor é justiça, e pureza de coração e lábios.

4The offering of the Lord is righteousness, and purity of heart and lips.

5Oferecei vosso ser interior sem falha; e que vossa compaixão não oprima a compaixão; e que vós mesmos não oprimais a vós mesmos.

5Offer your inner self without blemish; and let your compassion not oppress compassion; neither oppress yourselves.

6Não deveis comprar um estranho porque ele é como vós mesmos, nem buscar enganar vosso vizinho, nem privá-lo da cobertura para sua nudez.

6You must not buy a stranger because he is like yourselves, nor seek to deceive your neighbor, nor deprive him of the covering for his nakedness.

7Mas vesti a graça do Senhor generosamente, e vinde ao seu Paraíso, e fazei para vós uma guirlanda de sua árvore.

7But put on the grace of the Lord generously, and come into his Paradise, and make for yourselves a garland from his tree.

8Então colocai-a em vossa cabeça e alegrai-vos, e reclinai-vos sobre seu descanso.

8Then place it on your head and be glad, and recline upon his rest.

9Pois sua glória irá diante de vós; e recebereis de sua bondade e de sua graça; e sereis ungidos em verdade com o louvor de sua santidade.

9For his glory will go before you; and you will receive of his kindness and of his grace; and you will be anointed in truth with the praise of his holiness.

10Louvor e honra ao seu nome. Aleluia.
