Odes de Salomão 19

1Um copo de leite me foi oferecido, e eu o bebi na doçura da bondade do Senhor.

1A cup of milk was offered to me, and I drank it in the sweetness of the kindness of the Lord.

2O Filho é o copo, e o Pai é aquele que foi ordenhado; e o Espírito Santo é aquela que o ordenhou;

2The Son is the cup, and the Father is he who was milked; and the Holy Spirit is she who milked him;

3Porque seus seios estavam cheios, e era indesejável que seu leite fosse liberado ineficazmente.

3Because his breasts were full, and it was undesirable that his milk should be released ineffectually.

4O Espírito Santo abriu seu seio, e misturou o leite dos dois seios do Pai.

4The Holy Spirit opened her bosom, and mixed the milk of the two breasts of the Father.

5Então ela deu a mistura à geração sem o saberem, e aqueles que a receberam estão na perfeição da mão direita.

5Then she gave the mixture to the generation without their knowing, and those who have received it are in the perfection of the right hand.

6O ventre da Virgem o tomou, e ela recebeu a concepção e deu à luz.

6The womb of the Virgin took it, and she received conception and gave birth.

7Então a Virgem tornou-se mãe com grandes misericórdias.

7Then the Virgin became a mother with many mercies.

8E ela entrou em trabalho de parto e deu à luz o Filho, mas sem dor, porque não ocorreu sem propósito.

8And she travailed and gave birth to the Son, but without pain, because it did not occur without purpose.

9E ela não precisou de parteira, porque ele a fez dar vida.

9And she did not need a midwife, because he made her give life.

10Ela deu à luz como um homem forte com desejo, e ela gerou de acordo com a manifestação, e ela adquiriu de acordo com o Grande Poder.

10She gave birth like a strong man with desire, and she brought forth according to the manifestation, and she acquired according to the Great Power.

11E ela amou com redenção, e guardou com bondade, e declarou com grandeza. Aleluia.

11And she loved with redemption, and guarded with kindness, and declared with grandeur. Hallelujah.
