Odes de Salomão 17

1Então fui coroado pelo meu Deus, e minha coroa era viva.

1Then I was crowned by my God, and my crown was living.

2E fui justificado pelo meu Senhor, pois minha salvação é incorruptível.

2And I was justified by my Lord, for my salvation is incorruptible.

3Fui libertado das vaidades, e não sou condenado.

3I was set free from vanities, and am not condemned.

4Minhas correntes foram cortadas por suas mãos, recebi a face e a semelhança de uma nova pessoa, e andei nele e fui salvo.

4My chains were cut off by his hands, I received the face and likeness of a new person, and I walked in him and was saved.

5E o pensamento da verdade me guiou, e fui atrás dele e não vaguei.

5And the thought of truth guided me, and I went after him and did not wander.

6E todos os que me viram ficaram maravilhados, e pareci a eles como um estranho.

6And all who saw me were astonished, and I seemed to them a stranger.

7E aquele que me conheceu e me exaltou, é o Altíssimo em toda a sua perfeição.

7And he who knew me and exalted me is the Most High in all his perfection.

8E ele me glorificou pela sua bondade, e levantou meu entendimento à altura da verdade.

8And he glorified me by his kindness, and raised my understanding to the height of truth.

9E de lá ele me deu o caminho de seus passos, e abri as portas que estavam fechadas.

9And from there he gave me the way of his steps, and I opened the doors that were closed.

10E quebrei as barras de ferro, pois meus próprios grilhões tinham ficado quentes e derretido diante de mim.

10And I shattered the bars of iron, for my own fetters had become hot and melted before me.

11E nada parecia fechado para mim, porque eu era a abertura de tudo.

11And nothing appeared closed to me, because I was the opening of everything.

12E fui em direção a todos os meus presos a fim de soltá-los; para que eu não deixasse ninguém preso ou prendendo.

12And I went toward all my prisoners in order to loose them; that I might leave no one bound or binding.

13E dei meu conhecimento generosamente, e minha ressurreição através do meu amor.

13And I gave my knowledge generously, and my resurrection through my love.

14E semeei meus frutos em corações, e os transformei através de mim mesmo.

14And I sowed my fruits in hearts, and transformed them through myself.

15Então eles receberam minha bênção e viveram, e foram reunidos a mim e foram salvos;

15Then they received my blessing and lived, and were gathered to me and were saved;

16Porque tornaram-se meus membros, e eu era a Cabeça deles.

16Because they became my members, and I was the Head of them.

17Glória a ti, nossa Cabeça, ó Senhor Messias. Aleluia.

17Glory to you, our Head, O Lord Messiah. Hallelujah.
