1Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés no deserto de Sinai, na tenda da congregação, no primeiro dia do segundo mês, no segundo ano da sua saída da terra do Egito, dizendo:

1And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first {day} of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2Tomai a soma de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, conforme o número dos nomes de todo o homem, cabeça por cabeça;

2Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of {their} names, every male by their polls;

3Da idade de vinte anos para cima, todos os que em Israel podem sair à guerra, a estes contareis segundo os seus exércitos, tu e Arão.

3From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

4Estará convosco, de cada tribo, um homem que seja cabeça da casa de seus pais.

4And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.

5Estes, pois, são os nomes dos homens que estarão convosco: De Rúben, Elizur, filho de Sedeur;

5And these {are} the names of the men that shall stand with you: of {the tribe of} Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.

6De Simeão, Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai;

6Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

7De Judá, Naasson, filho de Aminadabe;

7Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

8De Issacar, Natanael, filho de Zuar;

8Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

9De Zebulom, Eliabe, filho de Helom;

9Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.

10Dos filhos de José: De Efraim, Elisama, filho de Amiúde; de Manassés, Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur;

10Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

11De Benjamim, Abidã, filho de Gideoni;

11Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.

12De Dã, Aieser, filho de Amisadai;

12Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

13De Aser, Pagiel, filho de Ocrã;

13Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.

14De Gade, Eliasafe, filho de Deuel;

14Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel. {Deuel: also called, Reuel}

15De Naftali, Aira, filho de Enã.

15Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.

16Estes foram os chamados da congregação, os príncipes das tribos de seus pais, os cabeças dos milhares de Israel.

16These {were} the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.

17Então tomaram Moisés e Arão a estes homens, que foram declarados pelos seus nomes,

17And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by {their} names:

18E reuniram toda a congregação no primeiro dia do mês segundo, e declararam a sua descendência segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, cabeça por cabeça;

18And they assembled all the congregation together on the first {day} of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

19Como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim os contou no deserto de Sinai.

19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20Foram, pois, os filhos de Rúben, o primogênito de Israel, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes, cabeça por cabeça, todo o homem de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

20And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

21Foram contados deles, da tribo de Rúben, quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.

21Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Reuben, {were} forty and six thousand and five hundred.

22Dos filhos de Simeão, as suas gerações pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa dos seus pais; os seus contados, pelo número dos nomes, cabeça por cabeça, todo o homem de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

22Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

23Foram contados deles, da tribo de Simeão, cinqüenta e nove mil e trezentos.

23Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Simeon, {were} fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

24Dos filhos de Gade, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

24Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

25Foram contados deles, da tribo de Gade, quarenta e cinco mil e seiscentos e cinqüenta.

25Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Gad, {were} forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26Dos filhos de Judá, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais; pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

26Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

27Foram contados deles, da tribo de Judá, setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.

27Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Judah, {were} threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

28Dos filhos de Issacar, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

28Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

29Foram contados deles da tribo de Issacar, cinqüenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.

29Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Issachar, {were} fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

30Dos filhos de Zebulom, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

30Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

31Foram contados deles, da tribo de Zebulom, cinqüenta e sete mil e quatrocentos.

31Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Zebulun, {were} fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

32Dos filhos de José, dos filhos de Efraim, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

32Of the children of Joseph, {namely}, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

33Foram contados deles, da tribo de Efraim, quarenta mil e quinhentos.

33Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Ephraim, {were} forty thousand and five hundred.

34Dos filhos de Manassés, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

34Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

35Foram contados deles, da tribo de Manassés, trinta e dois mil e duzentos.

35Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Manasseh, {were} thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

36Dos filhos de Benjamim, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

36Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

37Foram contados deles, da tribo de Benjamim, trinta e cinco mil e quatrocentos.

37Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Benjamin, {were} thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

38Dos filhos de Dã, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

38Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

39Foram contados deles, da tribo de Dã, sessenta e dois mil e setecentos.

39Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Dan, {were} threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

40Dos filhos de Aser, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

40Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

41Foram contados deles, da tribo de Aser, quarenta e um mil e quinhentos.

41Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Asher, {were} forty and one thousand and five hundred.

42Dos filhos de Naftali, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,

42Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

43Foram contados deles, da tribo de Naftali, cinqüenta e três mil e quatrocentos.

43Those that were numbered of them, {even} of the tribe of Naphtali, {were} fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

44Estes foram os contados, que contaram Moisés e Arão, e os príncipes de Israel, doze homens, cada um era pela casa de seus pais.

44These {are} those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, {being} twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.

45Assim foram todos os contados dos filhos de Israel, segundo a casa de seus pais, de vinte anos para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra em Israel;

45So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

46Todos os contados eram seiscentos e três mil e quinhentos e cinqüenta.

46Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

47Mas os levitas, segundo a tribo de seus pais, não foram contados entre eles,

47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48Porquanto o Senhor tinha falado a Moisés, dizendo:

48For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49Porém não contarás a tribo de Levi, nem tomarás a soma deles entre os filhos de Israel;

49Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:

50Mas tu põe os levitas sobre o tabernáculo do testemunho, e sobre todos os seus utensílios, e sobre tudo o que pertence a ele; eles levarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus utensílios; e eles o administrarão, e acampar-se-ão ao redor do tabernáculo.

50But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that {belong} to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

51E, quando o tabernáculo partir, os levitas o desarmarão; e, quando o tabernáculo se houver de assentar no arraial, os levitas o armarão; e o estranho que se chegar morrerá.

51And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

52E os filhos de Israel armarão as suas tendas, cada um no seu esquadrão, e cada um junto à sua bandeira, segundo os seus exércitos.

52And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

53Mas os levitas armarão as suas tendas ao redor do tabernáculo do testemunho, para que não haja indignação sobre a congregação dos filhos de Israel, pelo que os levitas terão o cuidado da guarda do tabernáculo do testemunho.

53But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

54Assim fizeram os filhos de Israel; conforme a tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim o fizeram.

54And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
