Neemias 12

1Estes são sacerdotes e levitas que subiram com Zorobabel, filho de Sealtiel, e com Jesuá: Seraías, Jeremias, Esdras,

1Now these {are} the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

2Amarias, Maluque, Hatus,

2Amariah, Malluch, Hattush, {Malluch: also called, Melicu}

3Secanias, Reum, Meremote,

3Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth, {Shechaniah: also called, Shebaniah} {Rehum: also called, Harim} {Meremoth: also called, Meraioth}

4Ido, Ginetoi, Abias,

4Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah, {Ginnetho: also called, Ginnethon}

5Miamim, Maadias, Bilga,

5Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah, {Miamin: also called, Miniamin} {Maadiah: also called, Moadiah}

6Semaías, Joiaribe, Jedaías,

6Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,

7Salu, Amoque, Hilquias, Jedaías; estes foram os chefes dos sacerdotes e de seus irmãos, nos dias de Jesuá.

7Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These {were} the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua. {Sallu: also called, Sallai}

8E os levitas: Jesuá, Binui, Cadmiel, Serebias, Judá, Matanias; este e seus irmãos dirigiam os louvores.

8Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, {and} Mattaniah, {which was} over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren. {the thanksgiving: that is, the psalms of thanksgiving}

9E Bacbuquias e Uni, seus irmãos, estavam defronte deles, nas guardas.

9Also Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, {were} over against them in the watches.

10E Jesuá gerou a Joiaquim, e Joiaquim gerou a Eliasibe, e Eliasibe gerou a Joiada,

10And Jeshua begat Joiakim, Joiakim also begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,

11E Joiada gerou a Jônatas, e Jônatas gerou a Jadua.

11And Joiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua.

12E nos dias de Joiaquim foram sacerdotes, chefes dos pais: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremias, Hananias;

12And in the days of Joiakim were priests, the chief of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

13De Esdras, Mesulão; de Amarias, Joanã;

13Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

14De Maluqui, Jônatas; de Sebanias, José;

14Of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15De Harim, Adna; de Meraiote, Helcai;

15Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

16De Ido, Zacarias; de Ginetom, Mesulão.

18De Bilga, Samua; de Semaías, Jônatas;

18Of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

19And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;

20De Salai, Calai; de Amoque, Éber;

20Of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;

21De Hilquias, Hasabias; de Jedaías, Natanael.

21Of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.

22Dos levitas, nos dias de Eliasibe, foram inscritos como chefes de pais, Joiada, Joanã e Jadua; como também os sacerdotes, até ao reinado de Dario, o persa.

22The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, {were} recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.

23Os filhos de Levi foram inscritos, como chefes de pais, no livro das crônicas, até aos dias de Joanã, filho de Eliasibe.

23The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, {were} written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

24Foram, pois, os chefes dos levitas: Hasabias, Serabias, e Jesuá, filho de Cadmiel; e seus irmãos estavam defronte deles, para louvarem e darem graças, segundo o mandado de Davi, homem de Deus; guarda contra guarda.

24And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise {and} to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.

25Matanias, Bacbuquias, Obadias, Mesulão, Talmom e Acube, eram porteiros, que faziam a guarda às tesourarias das portas.

25Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, {were} porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates. {thresholds: or, treasuries, or, assemblies}

26Estes viveram nos dias de Jeoiaquim, filho de Jesuá, o filho de Jozadaque; como também nos dias de Neemias, o governador, e do sacerdote Esdras, o escriba.

26These {were} in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.

27E na dedicação dos muros de Jerusalém buscaram os levitas de todos os seus lugares, para trazê-los, a fim de fazerem a dedicação com alegria, com louvores e com canto, saltérios, címbalos e com harpas.

27And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, {with} cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

28E assim ajuntaram os filhos dos cantores, tanto da campina dos arredores de Jerusalém, como das aldeias de Netofati;

28And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;

29Como também da casa de Gilgal, e dos campos de Geba, e Azmavete; porque os cantores edificaram para si aldeias nos arredores de Jerusalém.

29Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.

30E purificaram-se os sacerdotes e os levitas; e logo purificaram o povo, as portas e o muro.

30And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31Então fiz subir os príncipes de Judá sobre o muro, e ordenei dois grandes coros em procissão, um à mão direita sobre o muro do lado da porta do monturo.

31Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great {companies of them that gave} thanks, {whereof one} went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:

32E após ele ia Hosaías, e a metade dos príncipes de Judá.

32And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,

33E Azarias, Esdras e Mesulão,

33And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

34Judá, Benjamim, Semaías e Jeremias.

34Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,

35E dos filhos dos sacerdotes, com trombetas: Zacarias, filho de Jônatas, filho de Semaías, filho de Matanias, filho de Micaías, filho de Zacur, filho de Asafe.

35And {certain} of the priests' sons with trumpets; {namely}, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:

36E seus irmãos, Semaías, e Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Natanael, Judá e Hanani, com os instrumentos musicais de Davi, homem de Deus; e Esdras, o escriba, ia adiante deles.

36And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.

37Indo assim para a porta da fonte, defronte deles, subiram as escadas da cidade de Davi, onde começa a subida do muro, desde cima da casa de Davi, até à porta das águas, do lado do oriente.

37And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

38E o segundo coro ia em frente, e eu após ele; e a metade do povo ia sobre o muro, desde a torre dos fornos, até à muralha larga;

38And the other {company of them that gave} thanks went over against {them}, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;

39E desde a porta de Efraim, passaram por cima da porta velha, e da porta do peixe, e pela torre de Hananeel e a torre de Meá, até à porta do gado; e pararam à porta da prisão.

39And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

40Então ambos os coros pararam na casa de Deus; como também eu, e a metade dos magistrados comigo.

40So stood the two {companies of them that gave} thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

41E os sacerdotes Eliaquim, Maaséias, Miniamim, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarias e Hananias, com trombetas.

41And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, {and} Hananiah, with trumpets;

42Como também, Maaséias, Semaías, Eleazar, Uzi, Joanã, Malquias, Elão e Ezer; e faziam-se ouvir os cantores, juntamente com Jezraías, o seu superintendente.

42And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah {their} overseer. {sang...: Heb. made their voice to be heard}

43E ofereceram, no mesmo dia, grandes sacrifícios e se alegraram; porque Deus os alegrara com grande alegria; e até as mulheres e os meninos se alegraram, de modo que a alegria de Jerusalém se ouviu até de longe.

43Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

44Também no mesmo dia se nomearam homens sobre as câmaras, dos tesouros, das ofertas alçadas, das primícias, dos dízimos, para ajuntarem nelas, dos campos das cidades, as partes da lei para os sacerdotes e para os levitas; porque Judá estava alegre por causa dos sacerdotes e dos levitas que assistiam ali.

44And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited. {of the law: that is, appointed by the law} {for Judah...: Heb. for the joy of Judah} {waited: Heb. stood}

45E observava os preceitos do seu Deus, e os da purificação; como também os cantores e porteiros, conforme ao mandado de Davi e de seu filho Salomão.

45And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, {and} of Solomon his son.

46Porque já nos dias de Davi e Asafe, desde a antiguidade, havia chefes dos cantores, e dos cânticos de louvores e de ação de graças a Deus.

46For in the days of David and Asaph of old {there were} chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

47Por isso todo o Israel, já nos dias de Zorobabel e nos dias de Neemias, dava aos cantores e aos porteiros as porções de cada dia; e santificavam as porções aos levitas, e os levitas as santificavam aos filhos de Arão.

47And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified {holy things} unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified {them} unto the children of Aaron. {sanctified: that is, set apart}
