Livro de Jasher 45

1E foi naquela época daquele ano, que é o ano em que José desceu ao Egito depois que seus irmãos o venderam, que Rúben, filho de Jacó, foi a Timna e tomou como esposa Eliuram, filha de Avi, o cananeu, e ele veio até ela.

1And it was at that time in that year, which is the year of Joseph's going down to Egypt after his brothers had sold him, that Reuben the son of Jacob went to Timnah and took unto him for a wife Eliuram, the daughter of Avi the Canaanite, and he came to her.

2E Eliuram, a esposa de Reuben, concebeu e lhe deu Hanoch, Palu, Chetzron e Carmi, quatro filhos; e Simeão, seu irmão, tomou sua irmã Dinah como esposa, e ela lhe deu Memuel, Yamin, Ohad, Jachin e Zochar, cinco filhos.

2And Eliuram the wife of Reuben conceived and bare him Hanoch, Palu, Chetzron and Carmi, four sons; and Simeon his brother took his sister Dinah for a wife, and she bare unto him Memuel, Yamin, Ohad, Jachin and Zochar, five sons.

3E depois ele veio a Bunah, a mulher cananéia, a mesma é Bunah, a quem Simeão levou cativo da cidade de Siquém, e Bunah estava diante de Dinah e a atendeu, e Simeão veio até ela, e ela lhe deu Saul.

5E Levi e Issacar foram para a terra do leste, e tomaram para si por esposas as filhas de Jobabe, filho de Yoktan, filho de Éber; e Jobabe, filho de Yoktan, teve duas filhas; o nome do mais velho era Adinah, e o nome do mais novo era Aridah.

5And Levi and Issachar went to the land of the east, and they took unto themselves for wives the daughters of Jobab the son of Yoktan, the son of Eber; and Jobab the son of Yoktan had two daughters; the name of the elder was Adinah, and the name of the younger was Aridah.

6E Levi tomou Adinah, e Issacar tomou Aridah, e eles vieram para a terra de Canaã, para a casa de seu pai, e Adinah deu à luz a Levi, Gérson, Kehath e Merari; três filhos.

6And Levi took Adinah, and Issachar took Aridah, and they came to the land of Canaan, to their father's house, and Adinah bare unto Levi, Gershon, Kehath and Merari; three sons.

7E Aridah deu à luz a Issachar Tola, Puvah, Job e Shomron, quatro filhos; e Dã foi à terra de Moabe e tomou por esposa Aphlalet, filha de Chamudan, o moabita, e a trouxe para a terra de Canaã.

7And Aridah bare unto Issachar Tola, Puvah, Job and Shomron, four sons; and Dan went to the land of Moab and took for a wife Aphlaleth, the daughter of Chamudan the Moabite, and he brought her to the land of Canaan.

8E Aphlaleth era estéril, ela não tinha descendência, e Deus depois se lembrou de Aphlaleth, a esposa de Dan, e ela concebeu e deu à luz um filho, e ela chamou seu nome de Chushim.

8And Aphlaleth was barren, she had no offspring, and God afterward remembered Aphlaleth the wife of Dan, and she conceived and bare a son, and she called his name Chushim.

9E Gade e Naftali foram a Harã e tomaram de lá as filhas de Amurão, filho de Uz, filho de Nahor, como esposas.

9And Gad and Naphtali went to Haran and took from thence the daughters of Amuram the son of Uz, the son of Nahor, for wives.

10E estes são os nomes das filhas de Amuram; o nome do mais velho era Merimah, e o nome do mais jovem era Uzith; e Naftali tomou Merima, e Gade tomou Uzite; e os trouxe para a terra de Canaã, para a casa de seu pai.

10And these are the names of the daughters of Amuram; the name of the elder was Merimah, and the name of the younger Uzith; and Naphtali took Merimah, and Gad took Uzith; and brought them to the land of Canaan, to their father's house.

11E Merimah deu à luz a Naftali Yachzeel, Guni, Jazer e Shalem, quatro filhos; e Uzith deu à luz a Gad Zephion, Chagi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi e Arali, sete filhos.

11And Merimah bare unto Naphtali Yachzeel, Guni, Jazer and Shalem, four sons; and Uzith bare unto Gad Zephion, Chagi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi and Arali, seven sons.

12E Aser saiu e tomou Adon, filha de Aphlal, filho de Hadad, filho de Ismael, como esposa, e ele a trouxe para a terra de Canaã.

12And Asher went forth and took Adon the daughter of Aphlal, the son of Hadad, the son of Ishmael, for a wife, and he brought her to the land of Canaan.

13E Adom, mulher de Aser, morreu naqueles dias: ela não teve descendência; e foi depois da morte de Adon que Aser foi para o outro lado do rio e tomou por esposa Hadurah, filha de Abimael, filho de Éber, filho de Sem.

13And Adon the wife of Asher died in those days: she had no offspring; and it was after the death of Adon that Asher went to the other side of the river and took for a wife Hadurah the daughter of Abimael, the son of Eber, the son of Shem.

14E a jovem era de aparência atraente, e uma mulher sensata, e ela tinha sido a esposa de Malkiel, filho de Elam, filho de Sem.

15E Hadurah deu à luz uma filha para Malkiel, e ele chamou seu nome de Serach, e Malkiel morreu depois disso, e Hadurah foi e permaneceu na casa de seu pai.

15And Hadurah bare a daughter unto Malkiel, and he called her name Serach, and Malkiel died after this, and Hadurah went and remained in her father's house.

16E depois da morte da esposa em Aser ele foi e tomou Hadurah como esposa, e a trouxe para a terra de Canaã, e Serach, sua filha, ele também trouxe com eles, e ela tinha três anos de idade, e a donzela foi criada na casa de Jacó.

16And after the death of the wife at Asher he went and took Hadurah for a wife, and brought her to the land of Canaan, and Serach her daughter he also brought with them, and she was three years old, and the damsel was brought up in Jacob's house.

17E a donzela tinha uma aparência atraente e seguiu os caminhos santificados dos filhos de Jacó; nada lhe faltou, e o Senhor deu-lhe sabedoria e entendimento.

17And the damsel was of a comely appearance, and she went in the sanctified ways of the children of Jacob; she lacked nothing, and the Lord gave her wisdom and understanding.

18E Hadurah, a esposa de Asher, concebeu e deu-lhe Yimnah, Yishvah, Yishvi e Beriah; quatro filhos.

18And Hadurah the wife of Asher conceived and bare unto him Yimnah, Yishvah, Yishvi and Beriah; four sons.

19E Zebulom foi a Midiã, e tomou por esposa Merisá, filha de Molad, filho de Abida, filho de Midiã, e a trouxe para a terra de Canaã.

19And Zebulun went to Midian, and took for a wife Merishah the daughter of Molad, the son of Abida, the son of Midian, and brought her to the land of Canaan.

20E Merushah deu à luz a Zebulun Sered, Elon e Yachleel; três filhos.

20And Merushah bare unto Zebulun Sered, Elon and Yachleel; three sons.

21E Jacó enviou a Aram, filho de Zoba, filho de Terah, e ele tomou para seu filho Benjamim Mechalia, filha de Aram, e ela veio para a terra de Canaã, para a casa de Jacó; e Benjamim tinha dez anos quando tomou por esposa Mechalia, filha de Aram.

21And Jacob sent to Aram, the son of Zoba, the son of Terah, and he took for his son Benjamin Mechalia the daughter of Aram, and she came to the land of Canaan to the house of Jacob; and Benjamin was ten years old when he took Mechalia the daughter of Aram for a wife.

22E Mechalia concebeu e deu à luz a Benjamin Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera e Naaman, cinco filhos; e Benjamim foi depois e tomou como esposa Aribath, filha de Shomron, filho de Abraão, além de sua primeira esposa, e ele tinha dezoito anos de idade; e Aribath deu à luz a Benjamin Achi, Vosh, Mupim, Chupim e Ord; cinco filhos.

22And Mechalia conceived and bare unto Benjamin Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera and Naaman, five sons; and Benjamin went afterward and took for a wife Aribath, the daughter of Shomron, the son of Abraham, in addition to his first wife, and he was eighteen years old; and Aribath bare unto Benjamin Achi, Vosh, Mupim, Chupim, and Ord; five sons.

23E naqueles dias Judá foi à casa de Sem e tomou Tamar, filha de Elão, filho de Sem, como esposa para seu primogênito Er.

23And in those days Judah went to the house of Shem and took Tamar the daughter of Elam, the son of Shem, for a wife for his first born Er.

24E Er veio para sua esposa Tamar, e ela se tornou sua esposa, e quando ele veio para ela, ele destruiu externamente sua semente, e sua obra era má aos olhos do Senhor, e o Senhor o matou.

24And Er came to his wife Tamar, and she became his wife, and when he came to her he outwardly destroyed his seed, and his work was evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord slew him.

25E foi depois da morte de Er, o primogênito de Judá, que Judá disse a Onã: vá para a esposa de seu irmão e case-se com ela como parente mais próximo, e crie descendência para seu irmão.

25And it was after the death of Er, Judah's first born, that Judah said unto Onan, go to thy brother's wife and marry her as the next of kin, and raise up seed to thy brother.

26E Onan tomou Tamar por esposa e ele veio para ela, e Onan também gostou do trabalho de seu irmão, e seu trabalho era mau aos olhos do Senhor, e ele o matou também.

26And Onan took Tamar for a wife and he came to her, and Onan also did like unto the work of his brother, and his work was evil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him also.

27E quando Onã morreu, Judá disse a Tamar: Permanece na casa de teu pai até que meu filho Siló tenha crescido, e Judá não tenha mais prazer em Tamar, para dá-la a Siló, pois ele disse: Talvez ele também morra como seus irmãos.

27And when Onan died, Judah said unto Tamar, Remain in thy father's house until my son Shiloh shall have grown up, and Judah did no more delight in Tamar, to give her unto Shiloh, for he said, Peradventure he will also die like his brothers.

28E Tamar levantou-se e foi ficar na casa de seu pai, e Tamar ficou algum tempo na casa de seu pai.

28And Tamar rose up and went and remained in her father's house, and Tamar was in her father's house for some time.

29E na revolução do ano, Aliyath, a esposa de Judá, morreu; e Judá foi consolado por sua esposa, e após a morte de Aliyath, Judá subiu com seu amigo Hirah a Timna para tosquiar suas ovelhas.

29And at the revolution of the year, Aliyath the wife of Judah died; and Judah was comforted for his wife, and after the death of Aliyath, Judah went up with his friend Hirah to Timnah to shear their sheep.

30E Tamar ouviu que Judá tinha subido a Timna para tosquiar as ovelhas, e que Siló havia crescido, e Judá não se agradou dela.

30And Tamar heard that Judah had gone up to Timnah to shear the sheep, and that Shiloh was grown up, and Judah did not delight in her.

31E Tamar levantou-se e tirou as vestes de sua viuvez, e colocou um véu sobre ela, e ela se cobriu completamente, e ela foi e sentou-se na via pública, que fica na estrada para Timnah.

31And Tamar rose up and put off the garments of her widowhood, and she put a vail upon her, and she entirely covered herself, and she went and sat in the public thoroughfare, which is upon the road to Timnah.

32And Judah passed and saw her and took her and he came to her, and she conceived by him, and at the time of being delivered, behold, there were twins in her womb, and he called the name of the first Perez, and the name of the second Zarah.
