Levítico 19

1Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Fala a toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Santos sereis, porque eu, o Senhor vosso Deus, sou santo.

2Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God {am} holy.

3Cada um temerá a sua mãe e a seu pai, e guardará os meus sábados. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

3Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I {am} the LORD your God.

4Não vos virareis para os ídolos nem vos fareis deuses de fundição. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

4Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I {am} the LORD your God.

5E, quando oferecerdes sacrifício pacífico ao Senhor, da vossa própria vontade o oferecereis.

5And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.

6No dia em que o sacrificardes, e no dia seguinte, se comerá; mas o que sobejar ao terceiro dia, será queimado com fogo.

6It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

7E se alguma coisa dele for comida ao terceiro dia, coisa abominável é; não será aceita.

7And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it {is} abominable; it shall not be accepted.

8E qualquer que o comer levará a sua iniqüidade, porquanto profanou a santidade do Senhor; por isso tal alma será extirpada do seu povo.

8Therefore {every one} that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

9Quando também fizerdes a colheita da vossa terra, o canto do teu campo não segarás totalmente, nem as espigas caídas colherás da tua sega.

9And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

10Semelhantemente não rabiscarás a tua vinha, nem colherás os bagos caídos da tua vinha; deixá-los-ás ao pobre e ao estrangeiro. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

10And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather {every} grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I {am} the LORD your God.

11Não furtareis, nem mentireis, nem usareis de falsidade cada um com o seu próximo;

11Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

12Nem jurareis falso pelo meu nome, pois profanarás o nome do teu Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.

12And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I {am} the LORD.

13Não oprimirás o teu próximo, nem o roubarás; a paga do diarista não ficará contigo até pela manhã.

13Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob {him}: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

14Não amaldiçoarás ao surdo, nem porás tropeço diante do cego; mas temerás o teu Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.

14Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I {am} the LORD.

15Não farás injustiça no juízo; não respeitarás o pobre, nem honrarás o poderoso; com justiça julgarás o teu próximo.

15Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: {but} in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

16Não andarás como mexeriqueiro entre o teu povo; não te porás contra o sangue do teu próximo. Eu sou o Senhor.

16Thou shalt not go up and down {as} a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I {am} the LORD.

17Não odiarás a teu irmão no teu coração; não deixarás de repreender o teu próximo, e por causa dele não sofrerás pecado.

17Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. {and...: or, that thou bear not sin for him}

18Não te vingarás nem guardarás ira contra os filhos do teu povo; mas amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo. Eu sou o Senhor.

18Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I {am} the LORD.

19Guardarás os meus estatutos; não permitirás que se ajuntem misturadamente os teus animais de diferentes espécies; no teu campo não semearás sementes diversas, e não vestirás roupa de diversos estofos misturados.

19Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

20E, quando um homem se deitar com uma mulher que for serva desposada com outro homem, e não for resgatada nem se lhe houver dado liberdade, então serão açoitados; não morrerão, pois ela não foi libertada.

20And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that {is} a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. {betrothed...: or, abused by any: Heb. reproached by (or, for) man} {she shall...: or, they, etc: Heb. there shall be a scourging}

21E, por expiação da sua culpa, trará ao Senhor, à porta da tenda da congregação, um carneiro da expiação,

21And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, {even} a ram for a trespass offering.

22E, com o carneiro da expiação da culpa, o sacerdote fará propiciação por ele perante o Senhor, pelo pecado que cometeu; e este lhe será perdoado.

22And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

23E, quando tiverdes entrado na terra, e plantardes toda a árvore de comer, ser-vos-á incircunciso o seu fruto; três anos vos será incircunciso; dele não se comerá.

23And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

24Porém no quarto ano todo o seu fruto será santo para dar louvores ao Senhor.

24But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD {withal}. {holy...: Heb. holiness of praises to the LORD}

25E no quinto ano comereis o seu fruto, para que vos faça aumentar a sua produção. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

25And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I {am} the LORD your God.

26Não comereis coisa alguma com o sangue; não agourareis nem adivinhareis.

26Ye shall not eat {any thing} with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

27Não cortareis o cabelo, arredondando os cantos da vossa cabeça, nem danificareis as extremidades da tua barba.

27Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

28Pelos mortos não dareis golpes na vossa carne; nem fareis marca alguma sobre vós. Eu sou o Senhor.

28Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I {am} the LORD.

29Não contaminarás a tua filha, fazendo-a prostituir-se; para que a terra não se prostitua, nem se encha de maldade.

29Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. {prostitute: Heb. profane}

30Guardareis os meus sábados, e o meu santuário reverenciareis. Eu sou o Senhor.

30Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I {am} the LORD.

31Não vos virareis para os adivinhadores e encantadores; não os busqueis, contaminando-vos com eles. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

31Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I {am} the LORD your God.

32Diante das cãs te levantarás, e honrarás a face do ancião; e temerás o teu Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.

32Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I {am} the LORD.

33E quando o estrangeiro peregrinar convosco na vossa terra, não o oprimireis.

33And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. {vex: or, oppress}

34Como um natural entre vós será o estrangeiro que peregrina convosco; amá-lo-ás como a ti mesmo, pois estrangeiros fostes na terra do Egito. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

34{But} the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I {am} the LORD your God.

35Não cometereis injustiça no juízo, nem na vara, nem no peso, nem na medida.

35Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

36Balanças justas, pesos justos, efa justo, e justo him tereis. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirei da terra do Egito.

36Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I {am} the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt. {weights: Heb. stones}

37Por isso guardareis todos os meus estatutos, e todos os meus juízos, e os cumprireis. Eu sou o Senhor.

37Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I {am} the LORD.
