Levítico 18

1Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.

3Não fareis segundo as obras da terra do Egito, em que habitastes, nem fareis segundo as obras da terra de Canaã, para a qual vos levo, nem andareis nos seus estatutos.

3After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

4Fareis conforme os meus juízos, e os meus estatutos guardareis, para andardes neles. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

4Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I {am} the LORD your God.

5Portanto, os meus estatutos e os meus juízos guardareis; os quais, observando-os o homem, viverá por eles. Eu sou o Senhor.

5Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I {am} the LORD.

6Nenhum homem se chegará a qualquer parenta da sua carne, para descobrir a sua nudez. Eu sou o Senhor.

6None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover {their} nakedness: I {am} the LORD. {near...: Heb. remainder of his flesh}

7Não descobrirás a nudez de teu pai e de tua mãe: ela é tua mãe; não descobrirás a sua nudez.

7The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she {is} thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

8Não descobrirás a nudez da mulher de teu pai; é nudez de teu pai.

8The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it {is} thy father's nakedness.

9A nudez da tua irmã, filha de teu pai, ou filha de tua mãe, nascida em casa, ou fora de casa, a sua nudez não descobrirás.

9The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, {whether she be} born at home, or born abroad, {even} their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

10A nudez da filha do teu filho, ou da filha de tua filha, a sua nudez não descobrirás; porque é tua nudez.

10The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, {even} their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs {is} thine own nakedness.

11A nudez da filha da mulher de teu pai, gerada de teu pai (ela é tua irmã), a sua nudez não descobrirás.

11The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she {is} thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

12A nudez da irmã de teu pai não descobrirás; ela é parenta de teu pai.

12Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she {is} thy father's near kinswoman.

13A nudez da irmã de tua mãe não descobrirás; pois ela é parenta de tua mãe.

13Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she {is} thy mother's near kinswoman.

14A nudez do irmão de teu pai não descobrirás; não te chegarás à sua mulher; ela é tua tia.

14Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she {is} thine aunt.

15A nudez de tua nora não descobrirás: ela é mulher de teu filho; não descobrirás a sua nudez.

15Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she {is} thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

16A nudez da mulher de teu irmão não descobrirás; é a nudez de teu irmão.

16Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it {is} thy brother's nakedness.

17A nudez de uma mulher e de sua filha não descobrirás; não tomarás a filha de seu filho, nem a filha de sua filha, para descobrir a sua nudez; parentas são; maldade é.

17Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; {for} they {are} her near kinswomen: it {is} wickedness.

18E não tomarás uma mulher juntamente com sua irmã, para fazê-la sua rival, descobrindo a sua nudez diante dela em sua vida.

18Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex {her}, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life {time}. {a wife...: or, one wife to another}

19E não chegarás à mulher durante a separação da sua imundícia, para descobrir a sua nudez,

19Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

20Nem te deitarás com a mulher de teu próximo para cópula, para te contaminares com ela.

20Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

21E da tua descendência não darás nenhum para fazer passar pelo fogo perante Moloque; e não profanarás o nome de teu Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.

21And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through {the fire} to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I {am} the LORD. {Molech: Gr. Moloch}

22Com homem não te deitarás, como se fosse mulher; abominação é;

22Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it {is} abomination.

23Nem te deitarás com um animal, para te contaminares com ele; nem a mulher se porá perante um animal, para ajuntar-se com ele; confusão é.

23Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it {is} confusion.

24Com nenhuma destas coisas vos contamineis; porque com todas estas coisas se contaminaram as nações que eu expulso de diante de vós.

24Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25Por isso a terra está contaminada; e eu visito a sua iniqüidade, e a terra vomita os seus moradores.

25And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26Porém vós guardareis os meus estatutos e os meus juízos, e nenhuma destas abominações fareis, nem o natural, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós;

26Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit {any} of these abominations; {neither} any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27Porque todas estas abominações fizeram os homens desta terra, que nela estavam antes de vós; e a terra foi contaminada.

27(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which {were} before you, and the land is defiled;)

28Para que a terra não vos vomite, havendo-a contaminado, como vomitou a nação que nela estava antes de vós.

28That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that {were} before you.

29Porém, qualquer que fizer alguma destas abominações, sim, aqueles que as fizerem serão extirpados do seu povo.

29For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit {them} shall be cut off from among their people.

30Portanto guardareis o meu mandamento, não fazendo nenhuma das práticas abomináveis que se fizeram antes de vós, e não vos contamineis com elas. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

30Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that {ye} commit not {any one} of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I {am} the LORD your God.
