Levítico 11

1E falou o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão, dizendo-lhes:

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

2Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Estes são os animais, que comereis dentre todos os animais que há sobre a terra;

2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These {are} the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that {are} on the earth.

3Dentre os animais, todo o que tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divide em duas, e rumina, deles comereis.

3Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, {and} cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

4Destes, porém, não comereis; dos que ruminam ou dos que têm unhas fendidas; o camelo, que rumina, mas não tem unhas fendidas; esse vos será imundo;

4Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: {as} the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he {is} unclean unto you.

5E o coelho, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; esse vos será imundo;

5And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he {is} unclean unto you.

6E a lebre, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; essa vos será imunda.

6And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he {is} unclean unto you.

7Também o porco, porque tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divide em duas, mas não rumina; este vos será imundo.

7And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he {is} unclean to you.

8Das suas carnes não comereis, nem tocareis nos seus cadáveres; estes vos serão imundos.

8Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they {are} unclean to you.

9De todos os animais que há nas águas, comereis os seguintes: todo o que tem barbatanas e escamas, nas águas, nos mares e nos rios, esses comereis.

9These shall ye eat of all that {are} in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

10Mas todo o que não tem barbatanas, nem escamas, nos mares e nos rios, todo o réptil das águas, e todo o ser vivente que há nas águas, estes serão para vós abominação.

10And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which {is} in the waters, they {shall be} an abomination unto you:

11Ser-vos-ão, pois, por abominação; da sua carne não comereis, e abominareis o seu cadáver.

11They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.

12Todo o que não tem barbatanas ou escamas, nas águas, será para vós abominação.

12Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that {shall be} an abomination unto you.

13Das aves, estas abominareis; não se comerão, serão abominação: a águia, e o quebrantosso, e o xofrango,

13And these {are they which} ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they {are} an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

14E o milhano, e o abutre segundo a sua espécie.

14And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;

15Todo o corvo segundo a sua espécie,

15Every raven after his kind;

16E o avestruz, e o mocho, e a gaivota, e o gavião segundo a sua espécie.

16And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,

17E o bufo, e o corvo marinho, e a coruja,

17And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

18E a gralha, e o cisne, e o pelicano,

18And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

19E a cegonha, a garça segundo a sua espécie, e a poupa, e o morcego.

19And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

20Todo o inseto que voa, que anda sobre quatro pés, será para vós uma abominação.

20All fowls that creep, going upon {all} four, {shall be} an abomination unto you.

21Mas isto comereis de todo o inseto que voa, que anda sobre quatro pés: o que tiver pernas sobre os seus pés, para saltar com elas sobre a terra.

21Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon {all} four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;

22Deles comereis estes: a locusta segundo a sua espécie, o gafanhoto devorador segundo a sua espécie, o grilo segundo a sua espécie, e o gafanhoto segundo a sua espécie.

22{Even} these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

23E todos os outros insetos que voam, que têm quatro pés, serão para vós uma abominação.

23But all {other} flying creeping things, which have four feet, {shall be} an abomination unto you.

24E por estes sereis imundos: qualquer que tocar os seus cadáveres, imundo será até à tarde.

24And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.

25Qualquer que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde.

25And whosoever beareth {ought} of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

26Todo o animal que tem unha fendida, mas a fenda não se divide em duas, e todo o que não rumina, vos será por imundo; qualquer que tocar neles será imundo.

26{The carcases} of every beast which divideth the hoof, and {is} not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, {are} unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.

27E todo o animal que anda sobre as suas patas, todo o animal que anda a quatro pés, vos será por imundo; qualquer que tocar nos seus cadáveres será imundo até à tarde.

27And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on {all} four, those {are} unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.

28E o que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; eles vos serão por imundos.

28And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they {are} unclean unto you.

29Estes também vos serão por imundos entre os répteis que se arrastam sobre a terra; a doninha, e o rato, e a tartaruga segundo a sua espécie,

29These also {shall be} unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,

30E o ouriço cacheiro, e o lagarto, e a lagartixa, e a lesma e a toupeira.

30And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.

31Estes vos serão por imundos dentre todos os répteis; qualquer que os tocar, estando eles mortos, será imundo até à tarde.

31These {are} unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.

32E tudo aquilo sobre o que cair alguma coisa deles estando eles mortos será imundo; seja vaso de madeira, ou veste, ou pele, ou saco, qualquer instrumento, com que se faz alguma obra, será posto na água, e será imundo até à tarde; depois será limpo.

32And upon whatsoever {any} of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether {it be} any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel {it be}, wherein {any} work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.

33E todo o vaso de barro, em que cair alguma coisa deles, tudo o que houver nele será imundo, e o vaso quebrareis.

33And every earthen vessel, whereinto {any} of them falleth, whatsoever {is} in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.

34Todo o alimento que se come, sobre o qual cair água de tais vasos, será imundo; e toda a bebida que se bebe, depositada nesses vasos, será imunda.

34Of all meat which may be eaten, {that} on which {such} water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every {such} vessel shall be unclean.

35E aquilo sobre o que cair alguma parte de seu corpo morto, será imundo; o forno e o vaso de barro serão quebrados; imundos são: portanto vos serão por imundos.

35And every {thing} whereupon {any part} of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; {whether it be} oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: {for} they {are} unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.

36Porém a fonte ou cisterna, em que se recolhem águas, será limpa, mas quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo.

36Nevertheless a fountain or pit, {wherein there is} plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean. {wherein...: Heb. a gathering together of waters}

37E, se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre alguma semente que se vai semear, será limpa;

37And if {any part} of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it {shall be} clean.

38Mas se for deitada água sobre a semente, e se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre ela, vos será por imunda.

38But if {any} water be put upon the seed, and {any part} of their carcase fall thereon, it {shall be} unclean unto you.

39E se morrer algum dos animais, que vos servem de mantimento, quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo até à tarde;

39And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.

40E quem comer do seu cadáver lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; e quem levar o seu corpo morto lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde.

40And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

41Também todo o réptil, que se arrasta sobre a terra, será abominação; não se comerá.

41And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth {shall be} an abomination; it shall not be eaten.

42Tudo o que anda sobre o ventre, e tudo o que anda sobre quatro pés, ou que tem muitos pés, entre todo o réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra, não comereis, porquanto são uma abominação.

42Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon {all} four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they {are} an abomination. {hath...: Heb. doth multiply feet}

43Não vos façais abomináveis, por nenhum réptil que se arrasta, nem neles vos contamineis, para não serdes imundos por eles;

43Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. {yourselves abominable: Heb. your souls, etc}

44Porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus; portanto vós vos santificareis, e sereis santos, porque eu sou santo; e não vos contaminareis com nenhum réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra;

44For I {am} the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I {am} holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

45Porque eu sou o Senhor, que vos fiz subir da terra do Egito, para que eu seja vosso Deus, e para que sejais santos; porque eu sou santo.

45For I {am} the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I {am} holy.

46Esta é a lei dos animais, e das aves, e de toda criatura vivente que se move nas águas, e de toda criatura que se arrasta sobre a terra;

46This {is} the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:

47Para fazer diferença entre o imundo e o limpo; e entre animais que se podem comer e os animais que não se podem comer.

47To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
