Levítico 1

1E chamou o SENHOR a Moisés, e falou com ele da tenda da congregação, dizendo:

1And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

2Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando algum de vós oferecer oferta ao Senhor, oferecerá a sua oferta de gado, isto é, de gado vacum e de ovelha.

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, {even} of the herd, and of the flock.

3Se a sua oferta for holocausto de gado, oferecerá macho sem defeito; à porta da tenda da congregação a oferecerá, de sua própria vontade, perante o Senhor.

3If his offering {be} a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

4E porá a sua mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto, para que seja aceito a favor dele, para a sua expiação.

4And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

5Depois degolará o bezerro perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, oferecerão o sangue, e espargirão o sangue em redor sobre o altar que está diante da porta da tenda da congregação.

5And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that {is by} the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

6Então esfolará o holocausto, e o partirá nos seus pedaços.

6And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.

7E os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, porão fogo sobre o altar, pondo em ordem a lenha sobre o fogo.

7And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:

8Também os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, porão em ordem os pedaços, a cabeça e o redenho sobre a lenha que está no fogo em cima do altar;

8And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that {is} on the fire which {is} upon the altar:

9Porém a sua fressura e as suas pernas lavar-se-ão com água; e o sacerdote tudo isso queimará sobre o altar; holocausto é, oferta queimada, de cheiro suave ao Senhor.

9But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, {to be} a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

10E se a sua oferta for de gado miúdo, de ovelhas ou de cabras, para holocausto, oferecerá macho sem defeito.

10And if his offering {be} of the flocks, {namely}, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

11E o degolará ao lado do altar que dá para o norte, perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, espargirão o seu sangue em redor sobre o altar.

11And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

12Depois o partirá nos seus pedaços, como também a sua cabeça e o seu redenho; e o sacerdote os porá em ordem sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar;

12And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that {is} on the fire which {is} upon the altar:

13Porém a fressura e as pernas lavar-se-ão com água; e o sacerdote tudo oferecerá, e o queimará sobre o altar; holocausto é, oferta queimada, de cheiro suave ao Senhor.

13But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring {it} all, and burn {it} upon the altar: it {is} a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

14E se a sua oferta ao Senhor for holocausto de aves, oferecerá a sua oferta de rolas ou de pombinhos;

14And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD {be} of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

15E o sacerdote a oferecerá sobre o altar, e tirar-lhe-á a cabeça, e a queimará sobre o altar; e o seu sangue será espremido na parede do altar;

15And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn {it} on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar: {wring...: or, pinch off the head with the nail}

16E o seu papo com as suas penas tirará e o lançará junto ao altar, para o lado do oriente, no lugar da cinza;

16And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes: {his feathers: or, the filth thereof}

17E fendê-la-á junto às suas asas, porém não a partirá; e o sacerdote a queimará em cima do altar sobre a lenha que está no fogo; holocausto é, oferta queimada de cheiro suave ao Senhor.

17And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, {but} shall not divide {it} asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that {is} upon the fire: it {is} a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
