Aos Laodicenses 2

1Isso me serve para a salvação eterna que se efetua por vossas preces e pela ajuda do Espírito Santo.

1This serves for my eternal salvation which is effected by your prayers and by the help of the Holy Spirit.

2Pois minha vida está em Cristo e morrer é ganho.

2For my life is in Christ and to die is gain.

3Isto quer Sua misericórdia fazer em vós: que tenhais o mesmo amor e permaneçais unidos.

3This his mercy wishes to do in you: that you may have the same love and remain united.

4Portanto, amados, o que ouvistes quando de minha estadia entre vós assim o conservai.

4Therefore, beloved, what you heard when I was among you, thus keep it.

5Agi no temor de Deus, e tereis em vós a vida para sempre; pois é Deus que opera em vós.

5Act in the fear of God, and you will have in you life forever; for it is God who works in you.

6E fazei sem hesitação o que deveis fazer.

6And do without hesitation what you ought to do.

7E no mais, amados, alegrai-vos em Cristo e tende cuidado com aqueles que procuram lucros sórdidos.

7And finally, beloved, rejoice in Christ and beware of those who seek sordid profits.
