1E Ham dividiu entre seus filhos, e a primeira porção for sorteada para Cuxe em direção ao leste, e para o oeste dele para Mizraim, e para oeste dele para Pute, e para oeste dele no mar para Canaã.

1And Ham divided amongst his sons, and the first portion came forth for Cush towards the east, and to the west of him for Mizraim, and to the west of him for Put, and to the west of him [and to the west thereof] on the sea for Canaan.

2E Shem também dividiu entre seus filhos. A primeira porção foi sorteada para Ham e seus filhos, para o oeste do rio Tigre até se aproximar do leste, toda a terra da Índia, e no Mar Vermelho e sua costa, e as águas de Dedan, e todas as montanhas de Mebri e Ela, e toda a terra de Susan e tudo o que está ao lado de Pharnak até o Mar Vermelho e o rio Tina.

2And Shem also divided amongst his sons, and the first portion came forth for Elam and his sons, to the east of the river Tigris till it approacheth the east,

3E para Assur foi sorteada a segunda porção: Toda a terra de Assur e Nineveh e Shinar e até as fronteiras da India, e subindo contorna o rio.

3the whole land of India, and on the Red Sea on its coast, and the waters of Dêdân, and all the mountains of Mebrî and ’Êlâ, and all the land of Sûsân and all that is on the side of Pharnâk to the Red Sea and the river Tînâ.

4E para Arfaxade foi sorteado a quarta porção: Toda a terra da região dos Chaldees a leste do Eufrates, margeando o Mar Vermelho, e todas as águas do deserto próximo a língua do mar que aponta para o Egito, toda a terra do Líbano e Sanir e Amana até as margens do Eufrates.

4And for Asshur came forth the second portion, all the land of Asshur and Nineveh and Shinar and to the border of India, and it ascendeth and skirteth the river.

5E para Arã foi sorteada a quarta porção, toda a terra da Mesopotâmia entre o rio Tigre e o Eufrates ao norte dos Chaldees até a borda das montanhas de Assur e a terra de Arara.

5And for Arpachshad came forth the third portion, all the land of the region of the Chaldees to the east of the Euphrates, bordering on the Red Sea,

6E foi sorteado para Lude a quinta porção: As montanhas de Assur e tudo o que pertence a eles até alcançar o Grande Mar e até alcançar o leste de Assur, seu irmão.

6and all the waters of the desert close to the tongue of the sea which looketh towards Egypt, all the land of Lebanon and Sanîr and ’Amânâ to the border of the Euphrates.

7E Jafet também dividiu a terra de sua herança entre seus filhos.

7And for Aram there came forth the fourth portion, all the land of Mesopotamia between the Tigris and the Euphrates to the north of the Chaldees to the border of the mountains of Asshur and the land of ’Arârâ.

8E a primeira porção sorteada foi para Gomer para leste, do lado norte do rio Tina; e ao norte for sorteado para Magogue todas as porções interiores do norte até alcançar o mar Meat.

9E para Madai foi sorteado como sua porção que ele deve possuir do oeste de seus dois irmão até as ilhas, e até as costas das ilhas.

9And Japheth also divided the land of his inheritance amongst his sons.

10E para Javã foi sorteado a quarta porção: Toda ilha e as ilhas que apontam para a fronteira com Lude.

10And the first portion came forth for Gomer to the east from the north side to the river Tînâ;

11E para Tubal foi sorteado a quinta porção no meio da língua que se aproxima em direção a fronteira com a porção de Lude até a segunda língua, da região entre a segunda língua até a terceira língua.

11and in the north there came forth for Magog all the inner portions of the north until it reacheth to the sea of Mê’at.

12E para Meseque foi sorteada a sexta porção, toda a região entre a terceira língua até se aproximar do leste de Gadir.

12And for Madai came forth as his portion that he should possess from the west of his two brothers to the islands, and to the coasts of the islands.

13E para Tiras foi sorteada a sétima porção, quatro grandes ilhas no meio do mar, as quais alcançam a porção de Ham .

13And for Javan came forth the fourth portion every island and the islands which are towards the border of Lud.

14E assim os filhos de Noé dividiram entre seus filhos na presença de Noé seu pai, e eles se obrigaram por um juramento, impondo uma maldição sobre todo aquele que procurou aproveitar a parte que não tinha caído por sorte.

14And for Tubal there came forth the fifth portion in the midst of the tongue which approacheth towards the border of the portion of Lud to the second tongue, to the region beyond the second tongue unto the third tongue.

15E eles todos disseram, "Que assim seja" para eles mesmos e seus filhos para sempre pelas gerações até o dia do julgamento, no qual o Senhor Deus os julgará com uma espada e com fogo por toda a impureza e maldade de seus erros, com os quais eles encheram a terra com transgressões e impureza e fornicação e pecado.

15And for Meshech came forth the sixth portion, all the region beyond the third tongue till it approaches the east of Gadir.

16And for Tiras there came forth the seventh portion, four great islands in the midst of the sea, which reach to the portion of Ham [and the islands of Kamâtûrî came out by lot

17for the sons of Arpachshad as his inheritance].

18And thus the sons of Noah divided unto their sons in the presence of Noah their father, and he bound them all by an oath, imprecating a curse on every one that sought to seize the portion which had not fallen (to him) by his lot.

19And they all said, "So be it; so be it," for themselves and their sons for ever throughout their generations

20—

20till the day of judgment, on which the Lord God shall judge them with a sword and with fire, for all the unclean wickedness of their errors, wherewith they have filled the earth with transgression and uncleanness and fornication and sin.
