Jubileus 45

1E Israel foi para o país do Egito, na terra de Gósen, na lua nova do quarto mês, no segundo ano da terceira semana no quadragésimo quinto jubileu.

1And Israel went into the country of Egypt, into the land of Goshen, on the new moon of the fourth month, in the second year of the third week of the forty-fifth jubilee.

2E José foi encontrar seu pai Jacó, para a terra de Gósen, e ele caiu no pescoço de seu pai e chorou.

2And Joseph went to meet his father Jacob, to the land of Goshen, and he fell on his father's neck and wept.

3E Israel disse a José: "Agora me deixe morrer porque eu te vi, e agora seja o Senhor Deus de Israel bem dito, o Deus de Abraão e o Deus de Isaque que não reteve Sua misericórdia e sua graça de Seu servo Jacó.

3And Israel said unto Joseph: "Now let me die since I have seen thee,

4E é suficiente para mim que eu tenha visto sua face enquanto sou ainda vivo; sim, verdadeira é a visão que eu tive em Betel. Bem dito seja o Senhor meu Deus para sempre, e bem dito seja o Seu nome!"

4and now may the Lord God of Israel be blessed, the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac who hath not withheld His mercy and His grace from His servant Jacob.

5E José e seus irmão comeram pão diante do pai deles e beberam vinho, e Jacó alegrou-se com muitíssimo grande alegria porque ele viu José comendo com seus irmãos e bebendo diante dele, e ele bem disse ao Criador de todas as coisas que o preservou, e o preservou para ele seus doze filhos.

5It is enough for me that I have seen thy face whilst I am yet alive;

6E José deu a seu pai e a seus irmãos um presente. O direito de habitarem na terra de Gósen e em Rameses e em toda a região ao redor, que ele governava diante do Faraó. E Israel e seus filhos habitaram na terra de Gósen, a melhor parte da terra do Egito, e Israel tinha cento e trinta anos de idade quando ele veio ao Egito.

6yea, true is the vision which I saw at Bethel. Blessed be the Lord my God for ever and ever, and blessed be His name."

7E José sustentou seu pai e seus irmão e também suas posses com pão tanto quanto bastou-lhes pelos sete anos da fome.

7And Joseph and his brothers ate bread before their father and drank wine, and Jacob rejoiced with exceeding great joy because he saw Joseph eating with his brothers and drinking before him,

8E a terra do Egito sofria por causa da fome, e José adquiriu toda a terra do Egito para o Faraó em troca pela comida, e ele obteve as posses das pessoas e seu gado e tudo para o Faraó.

8and he blessed the Creator of all things who had preserved him, and had preserved for him his twelve sons.

9E os anos da fome foram completos, e José deu para o povo da terra semente e comida para que eles pudessem plantar no oitavo ano, porque o rio havia inundado toda a terra do Egito.

9And Joseph had given to his father and to his brothers as a gift the right of dwelling in the land of Goshen and in Rameses and all the region round about, which he ruled over before Pharaoh.

10Porque nos sete anos da fome ele havia inundado e havia irrigado somente alguns lugares nas margens do rio, mas agora ele havia inundado e os egípcios semearam a terra, e ela deu muito milho naquele ano.

10And Israel and his sons dwelt in the land of Goshen, the best part of the land of Egypt; and Israel was one hundred and thirty years old when he came into Egypt,

11E este era o primeiro ano da quarta semana do quadragésimo quinto jubileu.

11And Joseph nourished his father and his brethren and also their possessions with bread as much as sufficed them for the seven years of the famine.

12E José tomou do milho da colheita a quinta parte para o rei e deixou quatro partes para ele para alimento e semente, e José fez disso uma ordenança para a terra do Egito até este dia.

12And the land of Egypt suffered by reason of the famine, and Joseph acquired all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh in return for food, and he got possession of the people and their cattle and everything for Pharaoh.

13E Israel viveu na terra do Egito dezessete anos, e todos os dias que ele viveu foram três jubileus, cento e quarenta e sete anos, e ele morreu no quarto ano da quinta semana do quadragésimo quinto jubileu.

13And the years of the famine were accomplished, and Joseph gave to the people in the land seed and food that they might sow (the land) in the eighth year, for the river had overflowed all the land of Egypt.

14E Israel abençoou seu filhos antes de morrer e os contou tudo o que iria acontecer com eles na terra do Egito; e ele tornou conhecido a eles o que os sobreviria nos últimos dias, e os abençoou e deu a José duas porções na terra.

14For in the seven years of the famine it had not overflowed and had irrigated only a few places on the banks of the river, but now it overflowed

15E ele dormiu com seus pais, e ele foi enterrado na caverna dupla na terra de Canaã, próximo a Abraão, seu pai, na sepultura que ele cavou para si mesmo na caverna dupla na terra de Hebron.

15and the Egyptians sowed the land, and it bore much corn that year. And this was the first year of the fourth week of the forty-fifth jubilee.

16E ele deu todos os seus livros e os livros de seus pais para Levi, seu filho, para que ele os preservasse e os renovasse para seus filhos até este dia.

16And Joseph took of the corn of the harvest the fifth part for the king and left four parts for them for food and for seed, and Joseph made it an ordinance for the land of Egypt until this day.

17And Israel lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years, and all the days which he lived were three jubilees, one hundred and forty-seven years,

18—

18and he died in the fourth year of the fifth week of the forty-fifth jubilee.

19—

19And Israel blessed his sons before he died and told them everything that would befall them in the land of Egypt; and he made known to them what would come upon them in the last days,

20—

20and blessed them and gave to Joseph two portions in the land.

21—

21And he slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the double cave in the land of Canaan, near Abraham his father in the grave which he dug for himself in the double cave in the land of Hebron.

22—

22And he gave all his books and the books of his fathers to Levi his son that he might preserve them and renew them for his children until this day.
