Jubileus 33

1E Jacó desceu e habitou ao sul de Magadaladraef. E ele foi a seu pai Isaque, ele e Lia, sua esposa, na lua nova do décimo mês.

1And Jacob went and dwelt to the south of Magdalâdrâ’êf.

2E Rubem viu Bila, empregada de Raquel, a concubina de seu pai, tomando banho nas águas num lugar secreto, e ele a amou.

2And he went to his father Isaac, he and Leah his wife, on the new moon of the tenth month.

3E ele se escondeu a noite e entrou na casa de Bila , e a encontrou dormindo sozinha numa cama na casa.

3And Reuben saw Bilhah, Rachel's maid, the concubine of his father, bathing in water in a secret place, and he loved her.<br>And he hid himself at night, and he entered the house of Bilhah [at night], and he found her sleeping alone on a bed in her house.

4E ele se deitou com ela, e ela acordou e viu, e eis que Ruben estava deitado com ela na cama, e ela revelou sua extremidade e o segurou e gritou e descobriu que era Rubem.

4And he lay with her, and she awoke and saw, and behold Reuben was lying with her in the bed, and she uncovered the border of her covering and seized him, and cried out,

5E ela estava envergonhada por causa dele, e soltou sua mão dele, e ele fugiu.

5and discovered that it was Reuben.<br>And she was ashamed because of him, and released her hand from him, and he fled.<br>And she lamented because of this thing exceedingly, and did not tell it to any one.

6E ela lamentou por causa deste incidente muitíssimo, e não contou a ninguém.

6And when Jacob returned and sought her, she said unto him: "I am not clean for thee, for I have been defiled as regards thee; for Reuben hath defiled me, and hath lain with me in the night, and I was asleep, and did not discover until he uncovered my skirt and slept with me."<br>And Jacob was exceedingly wroth with Reuben because he had lain with Bilhah, because he had uncovered his father's skirt.

7E quando Jacó retornou e a procurou ela disse a ele: "Eu não estou limpa para ti, porque eu fui violada no que diz respeito a ti; porque Rubem me violou, e se deitou comigo a noite. Eu estava dormindo e não descobri até que ele descobriu minha saia e dormiu comigo."

7And Jacob did not approach her again because Reuben had defiled her. And as for any man who uncovereth his father's skirt,

8E Jacó ficou muito irado com Rubem porque ele havia se deitado com Bila, porque ele havia descoberto a saia de seu pai.

8his deed is wicked exceedingly, for he is abominable before the Lord.

9E Jacó não se achegou mais a ela porque Rubem a havia violado. Porque para qualquer homem que descobre a saia de seu pai sua ação é muitíssimo maligna, porque ele é abominável diante do Senhor.

9For this reason it is written and ordained on the heavenly tables that a man should not lie with his father's wife, and should not uncover his father's skirt, for this is unclean:

10Por esta razão está escrito e ordenado nas tábuas celestes que um homem não deve se deitar com a esposa de seu pai, e não deve descobrir a saia de seu pai, porque isto é imundo. Eles devem morrer juntos: O homem que se deitou com a esposa de seu pai e a mulher também, porque eles praticaram imundície sobre a terra.

10they shall surely die together, the man who lieth with his father's wife and the woman also, for they have wrought uncleanness on the earth.

11E não deve haver nada imundo diante de nosso Deus na nação que Ele escolheu para Si mesmo como possessão.

11And there shall be nothing unclean before our God in the nation which He hath chosen for Himself as a possession.

12E novamente, está escrito uma segunda vez: "Maldito seja aquele que se deita com a esposa de seu pai, porque ele descobriu a vergonha de seu pai." E todos os santos do Senhor disseram: "Que assim seja, que assim seja."

12And again, it is written a second time: "Cursed he be who lieth with the wife of his father, for he hath uncovered his father's shame"; and all the holy ones of the Lord said "So be it; so be it."

13E tu Moisés, ordene aos filhos de Israel para que eles observem essa palavra, porque ela uma pena de morte, e isto é imundo, e não ha expiação para sempre para expiar o homem que comete isto, mas ele é para a morte e morto, apedrejado com pedras e exterminado do meio das pessoas do nosso Deus.

13And do thou, Moses, command the children of Israel that they observe this word; for it (entaileth) a punishment of death; and it is unclean, and there is no atonement for ever to atone for the man who hath committed this, but he is to be put to death and slain, and stoned with stones, and rooted out from the midst of the people of our God.

14Porque nenhum homem que assim faz em Israel é permitido que permaneça vivo um dia sequer sobre a terra, porque ele é abominável e imundo.

14For to no man who doeth so in Israel is it permitted to remain alive a single day on the earth, for he is abominable and unclean.

15E que não venham dizer que para Rubem foi permitido viver e perdoado por ter se deitado com a concubina de seu pai, e para ela também apesar dela ter um marido, e seu marido Jacó, pai dele, ainda viver.

15And let them not say: to Reuben was granted life and forgiveness after he had lain with his father's concubine, and to her also though she had a husband, and her husband Jacob, his father, was still alive.

16Porque até aquele tempo não havia sido revelada a ordenança e juízo e lei na sua íntegra para todos, mas em teu dias como lei de estações e de dias, e uma lei eterna para as gerações da eternidade.

16For until that time there had not been revealed the ordinance and judgment and law in its completeness for all,

17E para esta lei não há consumação dos dias, e nenhuma expiação, mas ambos devem ser exterminados do meio da nação. No dia em que eles cometeram isto eles devem matá-los.

17but in thy days (it hath been revealed) as a law of seasons and of days, and an everlasting law for the everlasting generations.

18E tu Moisés, escreva isto para Israel que eles observem isto, e façam de acordo com essas palavras, e não cometam um pecado para a morte; Porque o Senhor nosso Deus é juiz que não respeita pessoas nem aceita presentes.

18And for this law there is no consummation of days, and no atonement for it, but they must both be rooted out in the midst of the nation: on the day whereon they committed it they shall slay them.

19E diga a eles essas palavras da aliança, que eles ouçam e observem, e se guardem no que diz respeito a eles, e não sejam destruídos e exterminados da terra, porque uma imundície, uma abominação, uma contaminação e uma poluição são todos os que cometerem isso sobre a terra diante de Deus.

19And do thou, Moses, write (it) down for Israel that they may observe it, and do according to these words, and not commit a sin unto death; for the Lord our God is judge, who respecteth not persons and accepteth not gifts.

20E não há pecado maior que o da fornicação cometida sobre a terra; porque Israel é uma nação santa para o Senhor seu Deus, e uma nação de herança, e uma sacerdotal e real nação para possessão. E tamanha imundície não deverá aparecer no meio da nação santa.

20And tell them these words of the covenant, that they may hear and observe, and be on their guard with respect to them, and not be destroyed and rooted out of the land;

21E no terceiro ano desta sexta semana Jacó e todos os seus filhos foram e habitaram na casa de Abraão, perto de Isaque, seu pai, e Rebeca sua mãe.

21for an uncleanness, and an abomination, and a contamination, and a pollution are all they who commit it on the earth before our God.

22E esses eram os nomes dos filhos de Jacó: O primogênito Rubem, Simeão, Levi, Judá, Issacar e Zebulom, os filhos de Lia. E os filhos de Raquel, José e Benjamin. E os filhos de Bila, Dan e Naftali. E os filhos de Zilpa, Gade e Aser. E Diná, a filha de Lia, a única filha de Jacó.

22And there is no greater sin than the fornication which they commit on earth; for Israel is a holy nation unto the Lord its God, and a nation of inheritance, and a priestly and royal nation and for (His own) possession;

23E eles vieram e se curvaram para Isaque e Rebeca, e quando eles os viram abençoaram Jacó e todos os filhos dele, e Isaque se alegrou muitíssimo, porque ele viu os filhos de Jacó, seu filho mais novo e os abençoou.

23and there shall no such uncleanness appear in the midst of the holy nation.

24—

24And in the third year of this sixth week Jacob and all his sons went and dwelt in the house of Abraham, near Isaac his father and Rebecca his mother.

25—

25And these were the names of the sons of Jacob: the first-born Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulon, the sons of Leah;

26—

26and the sons of Rachel, Joseph and Benjamin;

27—

27and the sons of Bilhah, Dan and Naphtali, and the sons of Zilpah, Gad and Asher; and Dinah, the daughter of Leah, the only daughter of Jacob.

28—

28And they came and bowed themselves to Isaac and Rebecca, and when they saw them they blessed Jacob and all his sons,

29—

29and Isaac rejoiced exceedingly, for he saw the sons of Jacob, his younger son, and he blessed them.
