Jubileus 21

1E no sexto ano da sétima semana deste jubileu Abraão chamou Isaque seu filho e o ordenou dizendo: "Eu fiquei velho e não sei o dia de minha morte, e estou repleto de meus dias.

1And in the sixth year of the seventh week of this jubilee Abraham called Isaac his son, and commanded him, saying:

2E eis que eu tenho cento e setenta e cinco anos, e por todos os dias de minha vida eu me lembrei do Senhor, e procurei com todo o meu coração fazer a vontade dEle, e andar retamente em todos os caminhos dEle.

2"I am become old, and know not the day of my death, and am full of my days.

3Minha alma odiou ídolos, e eu desprezei aqueles que os serviam, e eu dei meu coração e espírito para que eu observasse e fizesse a vontade daquele que me criou.

3And behold, I am one hundred and seventy-five years old, and throughout all the days of my life I have remembered the Lord, and sought with all my heart to do His will, and to walk uprightly in all His ways.

4Porque Ele é o Deus Vivo, e Ele é santo e fiel, e ele é justo acima de tudo, e não ha nele favorecimento de pessoas e não aceita presentes; porque Deus é justo e executa julgamento em todos os que transgridem os mandamentos dEle e desprezam sua aliança.

4My soul hath hated idols, (and I have despised those that served them, and I have given my heart and spirit) that I might observe to do the will of Him who created me. For He is the living God, and He is holy and faithful, and He is righteous beyond all, and there is with Him no accepting of (men's) persons and no accepting of gifts;

5E tu meu filho, observe Seus mandamentos e Suas ordenanças e Seus juízos, e não siga as abominações e as imagens de escultura nem as imagens de fundição.

5for God is righteous, and executeth judgment on all those who transgress His commandments and despise His covenant.

6E não coma nenhum sangue de animais ou gado, ou de qualquer ave que voa no céu.

6And do thou, my son, observe His commandments and His ordinances and His judgments, and walk not after the abominations and after the graven images and after the molten images.<br>And eat no blood at all of animals or cattle, or of any bird which flieth in the heaven.

7E se tu matar uma vítima como oferta pacífica aceitável, mate-a, e derrame seu sangue sobre o altar, e toda a gordura da oferta sobre o altar com boa farinha e a oferta de carne misturada com o azeite, com suas ofertas de bebidas ofereça-os todos juntos sobre o altar de holocausto ; isto é de doce aroma diante do Senhor.

7And if thou dost slay a victim as an acceptable peace-offering, slay ye it, and pour out its blood upon the altar, and all the fat of the offering offer on the altar with fine flour (and the meat-offering) mingled with oil, with its drink-offering

8E tu oferecerás a gordura do sacrifício das ofertas de agradecimento no fogo que está sobre o altar, e a gordura que está na barriga, e toda a gordura das entranhas e os dois rins, e a gordura que está sobre eles e sobre os lombos, e o fígado tu deves remover, junto com os rins.

8--offer them all together on the altar of burnt-offering; it is a sweet savour before the Lord.

9E ofereças todos estes para um doce aroma aceitável diante do Senhor, com suas ofertas de carne e com suas ofertas de bebidas, para um doce aroma, o pão da oferta para o Senhor.

9And thou wilt offer the fat of the sacrifice of thank-offerings on the fire which is upon the altar, and the fat which is on the belly, and all the fat on the inwards

10E como a carne naquele dia e no segundo dia, e não deixe o sol do segundo dia se por sobre isso até que seja comido, e não deixe sobrar nada para o terceiro dia; porque não é aceitável e não permita mais que seja comido, e todo o que comer disso trará pecado sobre si, porque assim eu achei escrito nos livros dos meus ancestrais, e nas palavras de Enoque, e nas palavras de Noé.

10and the two kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, and upon the loins and liver thou shalt remove together with the kidneys.

11E sobre todas as tuas oblações espalhe o sal, e não deixe o sal da aliança faltar em todas as tuas oblações diante do Senhor.

11And offer all these for a sweet savour acceptable before the Lord, with its meat-offering and with its drink-offering, for a sweet savour, the bread of the offering unto the Lord,

12E quanto a madeira do sacrifício, atente para não trazer madeira para o altar que não seja essas: Cipreste, baía, amêndoa, abeto, pinheiro, cedro, savin, figueiras, oliveiras, mirra, louro, aspalathus.

12And eat its meat on that day and on the second day, and let not the sun on the second day go down upon it till it is eaten,

13E desses tipos de madeira deite sobre o altar do sacrifício, assim como já foi testado quanto à sua aparência, e não deite nenhuma madeira quebrada ou escura, dura e limpa, sem falha, sã e nova; e não deite madeira velha, porque não ha tanto aroma nela quanto antes.

13and let nothing be left over for the third day; for it is not acceptable [for it is not approved] and let it no longer be eaten,

14Além desses tipos de madeira não ha outro o qual tu devas por , porque a fragrância é dispersada, e o aroma de sua fragrância sobre ao céu.

14and all who eat thereof will bring sin upon themselves; for thus I have found it written in the books of my forefathers, and in the words of Enoch, and in the words of Noah.

15Observe este mandamento e o cumpra, meu filho, para que tu possa ser reto em todas as tuas obras.

15And on all thy oblations thou shalt strew salt, and let not the salt of the covenant be lacking in all thy oblations before the Lord.

16E a todo momento estejas limpo teu corpo, e lave-se com água antes de tu se aproximares para ofertar sobre o altar, e lave tuas mãos e teus pés antes de tu achegar-te próximo ao altar; e quando tu tiveres feito o sacrifício, lave novamente tuas mãos e teus pés.

16And as regards the wood of the sacrifices, beware lest thou bring (other) wood for the altar in addition to these: cypress, dêfrân, sagâd, pine, fir, cedar, savin, palm, olive, myrrh, laurel, and citron, juniper, and balsam.

17E não deixe nenhum sangue aparecer sobre tu ou sobre tua roupa. Guarde-te, meu filho, contra sangue, guarde-te muitíssimo; cubra com pó.

17And of these kinds of wood lay upon the altar under the sacrifice, such as have been tested as to their appearance, and do not lay (thereon) any split or dark wood,

18E não coma nenhum sangue porque isto é a vida; não coma nenhum sangue.

18(but) hard and clean, without fault, a sound and new growth; and do not lay (thereon) old wood, [for its fragrance is gone] for there is no longer fragrance in it as before.

19E não aceite presentes pelo sangue de homem, para que este seja derramado impunemente, sem julgamento. Porque é o sangue derramado que faz a terra pecar, e a terra não pode ser purificada de sangue humano salvo pelo sangue daquele que o derramou.

19Besides these kinds of wood there is none other that thou shalt place (on the altar), for the fragrance is dispersed, and the smell of its fragrance goeth not up to heaven.

20E não aceite presente ou favor por sangue de homem: sangue por sangue, para que tu possas ser aceito diante do Senhor, o Deus Altíssimo; porque ele é a defesa do bem: e para que tu possas ser preservado de todo o mal, e para que Ele possa salvar-te de todo tipo de morte.

20Observe this commandment and do it, my son, that thou mayst be upright in all thy deeds.

21Eu vejo, meu filho, que todas as obras dos filhos dos homens são pecado e maldade, e todas as obras deles são impureza, abominação e uma poluição, e não ha justiça neles.

21And at all times be clean in thy body, and wash thyself with water before thou approachest to offer on the altar, and wash thy hands and thy feet before thou drawest near to the altar;

22Atente para que tu não ande nos caminhos deles, nem pise nos caminhos deles, e peque um pecado de morte diante do Deus Altíssimo. Se não Ele te entregará novamente nas mãos de suas transgressões, e o exterminará da terra, e também seus descendentes de debaixo do céu, e teu nome e tua descendência perecerão de toda a terra.

22and when thou art done sacrificing, wash again thy hands and thy feet.<br>And let no blood appear upon you nor upon your clothes;

23Torne atrás de todas as obras deles e de toda a impureza deles, e observe a ordem do Deus Altíssimo, e faça a vontade dEle e seja reto em tudo.

23be on thy guard, my son, against blood, be on thy guard exceedingly; cover it with dust.<br>And do not eat any blood, for it is the soul; eat no blood whatever.

24E Ele abençoará a ti em todas as suas obras, e crescerá de ti uma planta de justiça por toda a terra, por todas as gerações da terra, e meu nome e teu nome não serão esquecidos de debaixo do céu para sempre.

24And take no gifts for the blood of man, lest it be shed with impunity, without judgment; for it is the blood that is shed that causeth the earth to sin, and the earth cannot be cleansed from the blood of man save by the blood of him who shed it.

25Vá, meu filho, em paz. Que o Deus Altíssimo, meu Deus e teu Deus, te fortaleça para fazer a vontade dEle, e que Ele abençoe toda tua descendência e o restante de tua descendência para sempre, com toda benção justa, que tu sejas uma bênção em toda a terra. "

25And take no present or gift for the blood of man: blood for blood,

26E ele partiu dele alegre.

26that thou mayest be accepted before the Lord, the Most High God; for He is the defence of the good: and that thou mayest be preserved from all evil, and that He may save thee from every kind of death.

27—

27I see, my son, That all the works of the children of men are sin and wickedness, And all their deeds are uncleanness and an abomination and a pollution, And there is no righteousness with them.

28—

28Beware, lest thou shouldest walk in their ways And tread in their paths, And sin a sin unto death before the Most High God.

29—

29Else He will [hide His face from thee, And] give thee back into the hands of thy transgression, And root thee out of the land, and thy seed likewise from under heaven, And thy name and thy seed will perish from the whole earth.

30—

30Turn away from all their deeds and all their uncleanness, And observe the ordinance of the Most High God, And do His will and be upright in all things.

31—

31And He will bless thee in all thy deeds, And will raise up from thee the plant of righteousness through all the earth, throughout all generations of the earth,

32—

32And my name and thy name will not be forgotten under heaven for ever.

33—

33Go, my son, in peace. May the Most High God, my God and thy God, strengthen thee to do His will,

34—

34And may He bless all thy seed and the residue of thy seed for the generations for ever, with all righteous blessings, That thou mayest be a blessing on all the earth." <br>And he went out from him rejoicing.
