Jubileus 16

1E na lua nova do quarto mês nós aparecemos a Abraão, no carvalho de Moré, e nós conversamos com ele, e anunciamos a ele que um filho seria dado a ele atreves de Sara, sua esposa.

1And on the new moon of the fourth month we appeared unto Abraham, at the oak of Mamre, and we talked with him,

2E Sara riu, porque ela ouviu o que falávamos estas palavras para Abraão, e nós a admoestamos, e ele ficou com medo, e negou que ela tivesse rido por causa daquelas palavras.

2and we announced to him that a son would be given to him by Sarah his wife.

3E nós contamos a ela o nome de seu filho, e seu nome é ordenado e escrito nas tábuas celestes: Isaque.

3And Sarah laughed, for she heard that we had spoken these words with Abraham,

4E quando nós voltássemos a ela no tempo determinado, ela teria concebido um filho.

4and we admonished her, and she became afraid, and denied that she had laughed on account of the words.

5E nesse mês o Senhor executou julgamento em Sodoma e Gomorra e Zeboim e toda a região do Jordão, e Ele os queimou com fogo e com enxofre, e os destruiu até os dias de hoje, como já lhe havia dito a respeito de todas as obras deles, que eles eram malignos e excessivamente pecadores, e que eles se contaminavam e cometiam fornicação em sua carne, e praticavam impurezas sobre a terra.

5And we told her the name of her son, as his name is ordained and written in the heavenly tables (i.e.) Isaac.

6E dessa mesma maneira Deus executará julgamento nos lugares onde eles fizeram de acordo com a sujeira dos Sodomitas, do modo como julgou Sodoma.

6And (that) when we returned to her at a set time, she would have conceived a son.

7Mas Ló nós salvamos; porque Deus lembrou-se de Abraão, e o tirou do meio da destruição.

7And in this month the Lord executed his judgments on Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Zeboim, and all the region of the Jordan,

8Mas ele e suas filhas cometeram pecado sobre a terra, como não havia acontecido desde os tempos de Adão até o tempo dele. Porque o homem deitou com suas filhas.

8and He burned them with fire and brimstone, and destroyed them until this day, even as [lo] I have declared unto thee all their works,

9E eis que era ordenado e gravado sobre todos seus descendentes, nas tábuas celestes, para remove-los e exterminá-los, e para executar julgamento sobre eles conforme o julgamento de Sodoma, e não deixar descendente do homem sobre a terra no dia da condenação. Abraão junto ao poço do juramento. Nascimento de Isaque, e o estabelecimento e comemoração da Festa dos Tabernáculos.

9that they are wicked and sinners exceedingly, and that they defile themselves and commit fornication in their flesh, and work uncleanness on the earth.

10E neste mês Abraão mudou-se de Hebron, partiu e habitou entre Kadesh e Shur nas montanhas de Gerar.

10And, in like manner, God will execute judgment on the places where they have done according to the uncleanness of the Sodomites, like unto the judgment of Sodom.

11E no meio do quinto mês ele se mudou de lá, e habitou no Poço do Juramento.

11But Lot we saved; for God remembered Abraham, and sent him out from the midst of the overthrow.

12E no meio do sexto mês o Senhor visitou Sara e fez nela conforme havia falado e ela concebeu .

12And he and his daughters committed sin upon the earth, such as had not been on the earth since the days of Adam till his time; for the man lay with his daughters.

13E ela deu a luz a um filho no terceiro mês, no meio do mês, no tempo no qual o Senhor havia falado a Abraão, no festival dos primeiros frutos da colheita, Isaque nasceu.

13And, behold, it was commanded and engraven concerning all his seed, on the heavenly tables, to remove them and root them out, and to execute judgment upon them like the judgment of Sodom, and to leave no seed of the man on earth on the day of condemnation.

14E Abraão circuncidou seu filho ao oitavo dia: ele foi o primeiro a ser circuncidado de acordo com a aliança que foi ordenada para sempre.

14And in this month Abraham moved from Hebron, and departed and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur in the mountains of Gerar.

15E ao sexto ano da quarta semana nós viemos a Abraão, ao Poço do Juramento, e nós aparecemos perante ele e nós o abençoamos, e nós anunciamos a ele todas as coisas que haviam sido decretadas a respeito dele, que ele não morreria até ter gerado mais seis filhos, e que ele os veria antes de morrer; mas que de Isaque deveria ser chamado seu nome e sua descendência.

15And in the middle of the fifth month he moved from thence, and dwelt at the Well of the Oath.

16E que todos os descendentes de seus filhos seriam Gentios, e contados com os Gentios; mas dos filhos de Isaque um se tornaria santa descendência, e não seria contado entre os Gentios.

16And in the middle of the sixth month the Lord visited Sarah and did unto her as He had spoken.

17Porque ele se tornaria porção do Altíssimo, e toda sua descendência seria posse de Deus, que eles seriam para o Senhor um povo de sua propriedade sobre todas as nações, e que eles se tornariam um reinado e sacerdotes e uma nação santa.

17And she conceived and bare a son in the third month, and in the middle of the month, at the time of which the Lord had spoken to Abraham,

18E nós seguimos nosso caminho, e anunciamos a Sara tudo o que tínhamos contado, e eles dois se alegraram com mui grande alegria.

18on the festival of the first-fruits of the harvest, Isaac was born.<br>And Abraham circumcised his son on the eighth day:

19E ele construiu lá um altar ao Senhor que o salvou, e que o havia feito se alegrar na terra de sua peregrinação, e ele celebrou um festival de alegria neste mês por sete dias, próximo ao altar que ele havia construído na Fonte do Juramento. A primeira Festa dos Tabernáculos

19he was the first that was circumcised according to the covenant which is ordained for ever.

20E ele construiu cabanas para si e seus servos neste festival, e ele foi o primeiro a celebrar a festa dos tabernáculos na terra.

20And in the sixth year of the fourth week we came to Abraham, to the Well of the Oath, and we appeared unto him [as we had told Sarah that we should return to her,

21E durante esses sete dias ele trouxe ao altar um holocausto ao Senhor: Dois novilhos, dois carneiros, duas ovelhas e um bode por oferta pelo pecado, que ele possa expiar assim para si e para sua descendência.

21and she would have conceived a son.<br>And we returned in the seventh month, and found Sarah with child before us]

22E como oferta de agradecimento: sete carneiros, sete , sete ovelhas, e sete bodes, e suas ofertas de frutas e suas ofertas de bebidas; e ele queimou toda sua gordura no altar, uma oferta escolhida ao Senhor para um doce aroma agradável.

22and we blessed him, and we announced to him all the things which had been decreed concerning him, that he should not die till he should beget six sons more,

23E a manha e tarde ele queimou substâncias aromáticas: incenso, gálbano, stackte, nardo, mirra, especiarias, e costum; todos esses sete ele ofereceu, amassados e misturados em partes iguais e puras.

23and should see (them) before he died; but (that) in Isaac should his name and seed be called:

24E ele celebrou esta festa por sete dias, alegrando-se com todo seu coração e com toda sua alma, ele e todos aqueles que eram de sua casa, e não havia estrangeiros com ele, nem ninguém que não fosse incircunciso.

24And (that) all the seed of his sons should be Gentiles, and be reckoned with the Gentiles; but from the sons of Isaac one should become a holy seed, and should not be reckoned among the Gentiles.

25E ele bem disse a seu criador que o criou em sua geração, porque Ele o criara de acordo com seu bom prazer; porque Ele sabia e notava que dele sairia a planta da justiça para as gerações eternas, e para ele uma descendência santa, de modo que eles deveriam se tornar como Ele que fez todas as coisas.

25For he should become the portion of the Most High, and all his seed had fallen into the possession of God, that it should be unto the Lord a people for (His) possession above all nations and that it should become a kingdom and priests and a holy nation.

26E ele bem disse e se alegrou, e ele chamou o festival de: O Festival do Senhor. Uma alegria aceitável ao Deus Altíssimo.

26And we went our way, and we announced to Sarah all that we had told him, and they both rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

27E nós o abençoamos para sempre, e toda sua descendência após ele por todas as gerações da terra, porque ele celebrou este festival no tempo correto, de acordo com o testemunho das tábuas celestes.

27And he built there an altar to the Lord who had delivered him, and who was making him rejoice in the land of his sojourning, and he celebrated a festival of joy in this month seven days, near the altar which he had built at the Well of the Oath.<br>And he built booths for himself and for his servants on this festival,

28Por esta razão está ordenado nas tábuas celestes no que ser refere a Israel, que eles devem celebrar a festa dos tabernáculos sete dias com alegria, no sétimo mês, aceitável diante do Senhor. Um estatuto eterno pelas gerações todo ano.

28and he was the first to celebrate the feast of tabernacles on the earth.<br>And during these seven days he brought each day to the altar a burnt-offering to the Lord,

29E para isso não ha limite de dias; porque é ordenado para sempre no que diz respeito a Israel que eles devem celebrá-lo e habitar em cabanas, e colocarão grinaldas em suas cabeças, e tomar galhos frondosos, e salgueiros do ribeiro.

29two oxen, two rams, seven sheep, one he-goat, for a sin-offering, that he might atone thereby for himself and for his seed.

30E Abraão tomou ramos de palmeiras, e os frutos de árvores formosas, e todo dia deu voltas ao redor do altar com os ramos, sete vezes pela manha, ele louvou e deu graças a seu Deus por tudo em alegria.

30And, as a thank-offering, seven rams, seven kids, seven sheep, and seven he-goats, and their fruit-offerings and their drink-offerings;

31—

31and he burnt all the fat thereof on the altar, a chosen offering unto the Lord for a sweet smelling savour.

32—

32And morning and evening he burnt fragrant substances, frankincense and galbanum, and stacte, and nard, and myrrh, and spice, and costum; all these seven he offered, crushed, mixed together in equal parts (and) pure.

33—

33And he celebrated this feast during seven days, rejoicing with all his heart and with all his soul, he and all those who were in his house; and there was no stranger with him, nor any that was uncircumcised.

34—

34And he blessed his Creator who had created him in his generation, for He had created him according to His good pleasure;

35—

35for He knew and perceived that from him would arise the plant of righteousness for the eternal generations, and from him a holy seed, so that it should become like Him who had made all things.

36—

36And he blessed and rejoiced, and he called the name of this festival the festival of the Lord, a joy acceptable to the Most High God.

37—

37And we blessed him for ever, and all his seed after him throughout all the generations of the earth, because he celebrated this festival in its season, according to the testimony of the heavenly tables.

38—

38For this reason it is ordained on the heavenly tables concerning Israel, that they shall celebrate the feast of tabernacles seven days with joy, in the seventh month, acceptable before the Lord--a statute for ever throughout their generations every year.

39—

39And to this there is no limit of days; for it is ordained for ever regarding Israel that they should celebrate it and dwell in booths, and set wreaths upon their heads,

40—

40and take leafy boughs, and willows from the brook.<br>And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of goodly trees,

41—

41and every day going round the altar with the branches seven times [a day] in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his God for all things in joy.
