Josué 21

1Então os cabeças dos pais dos levitas se achegaram a Eleazar, o sacerdote, e a Josué, filho de Num, e aos cabeças dos pais das tribos dos filhos de Israel;

1Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;

2E falaram-lhes em Siló, na terra de Canaã, dizendo: O Senhor ordenou, pelo ministério de Moisés, que se nos dessem cidades para habitar, e os seus arrabaldes para os nossos animais.

2And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.

3Por isso os filhos de Israel deram aos levitas da sua herança, conforme a ordem do Senhor, as seguintes cidades e os seus arrabaldes.

3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.

4E saiu a sorte para as famílias dos coatitas; e aos filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, que eram dos levitas, tiveram por sorte da tribo de Judá, e da tribo de Simeão, e da tribo de Benjamim, treze cidades;

4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, {which were} of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

5E aos outros filhos de Coate couberam por sorte, das famílias da tribo de Efraim, e da tribo de Dã, e da meia tribo de Manassés, dez cidades;

5And the rest of the children of Kohath {had} by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

6E aos filhos de Gérson couberam por sorte, das famílias da tribo de Issacar, e da tribo de Aser, e da tribo de Naftali, e da meia tribo de Manassés, em Basã, treze cidades;

6And the children of Gershon {had} by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

7Aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Rúben, e da tribo de Gade, e da tribo de Zebulom, doze cidades;

7The children of Merari by their families {had} out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

8E deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes por sorte, como o Senhor ordenara pelo ministério de Moisés.

8And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

9Deram mais, da tribo dos filhos de Judá e da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, estas cidades, que por nome foram mencionadas,

9And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are {here} mentioned by name, {mentioned: Heb. called}

10Para que fossem dos filhos de Arão, das famílias dos coatitas dos filhos de Levi; porquanto a primeira sorte foi sua.

10Which the children of Aaron, {being} of the families of the Kohathites, {who were} of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.

11Assim lhes deram a cidade de Arba, do pai de Anaque (esta é Hebrom), no monte de Judá, e os seus arrabaldes ao redor.

11And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which {city is} Hebron, in the hill {country} of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it. {the city...: or, Kirjatharba}

12Porém o campo da cidade, e as suas aldeias, deram a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, por sua possessão.

12But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

13Assim aos filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, deram Hebrom, cidade do refúgio do homicida, e os seus arrabaldes, Libna e os seus arrabaldes;

13Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, {to be} a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,

14Jatir e os seus arrabaldes, e Estemoa e os seus arrabaldes;

14And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,

15E Holom e os seus arrabaldes, e Debir e os seus arrabaldes;

15And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs, {Holon: also called, Hilen}

16E Aim e os seus arrabaldes, e Jutá e os seus arrabaldes, e Bete-Semes e os seus arrabaldes; nove cidades destas duas tribos.

16And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, {and} Bethshemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes. {Ain: also called, Ashan}

17E da tribo de Benjamim, Gibeão e os seus arrabaldes, Geba e os seus arrabaldes;

17And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs, {Geba: also called, Gaba}

18Anatote e os seus arrabaldes, e Almom e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.

18Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities. {Almon: also called, Alemeth}

19Todas as cidades dos sacerdotes, filhos de Arão, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.

19All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, {were} thirteen cities with their suburbs.

20E as famílias dos filhos de Coate, levitas, que ficaram dos filhos de Coate, tiveram as cidades da sua sorte, da tribo de Efraim.

20And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

21E deram-lhes Siquém, cidade de refúgio do homicida, e os seus arrabaldes, no monte de Efraim, e Gezer e os seus arrabaldes;

21For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, {to be} a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,

22E Quibzaim e os seus arrabaldes, e Bete-Horom e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.

22And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbs; four cities.

23E da tribo de Dã, Elteque e os seus arrabaldes, Gibetom e os seus arrabaldes;

23And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,

24Aijalom e os seus arrabaldes, Gate-Rimom e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.

24Aijalon with her suburbs, Gathrimmon with her suburbs; four cities.

25E da meia tribo de Manassés, Taanaque e os seus arrabaldes, e Gate-Rimom e os seus arrabaldes; duas cidades.

25And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gathrimmon with her suburbs; two cities.

26As cidades para as famílias dos demais filhos de Coate, foram dez e os seus arrabaldes.

26All the cities {were} ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.

27E aos filhos de Gérson, das famílias dos levitas, deram da meia tribo de Manassés, Golã, cidade de refúgio do homicida, em Basã, e os seus arrabaldes, e Beesterá e os seus arrabaldes; duas cidades.

27And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the {other} half tribe of Manasseh {they gave} Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, {to be} a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beeshterah with her suburbs; two cities.

28E da tribo de Issacar, Quisiom e os seus arrabaldes, Daberate e os seus arrabaldes,

28And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs,

29Jarmute e os seus arrabaldes, En-Ganim e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.

29Jarmuth with her suburbs, Engannim with her suburbs; four cities.

30E da tribo de Aser, Misal e os seus arrabaldes, Abdom e os seus arrabaldes,

30And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs,

31Helcate e os seus arrabaldes, e Reobe e os seus arrabaldes;

31Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.

32E da tribo de Naftali, Quedes, cidade de refúgio do homicida, na Galiléia, e os seus arrabaldes, e Hamote-Dor e os seus arrabaldes, e Cartã e os seus arrabaldes; três cidades.

32And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, {to be} a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammothdor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.

33Todas as cidades dos gersonitas, segundo as suas famílias, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.

33All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families {were} thirteen cities with their suburbs.

34E às famílias dos filhos de Merari, aos demais levitas, foram dadas, da tribo de Zebulom, Jocneão e os seus arrabaldes, Cartã e os seus arrabaldes,

34And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs,

35Dimna e os seus arrabaldes, Naalal e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.

35Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities.

36E da tribo de Rúben, Bezer e os seus arrabaldes, e Jaza e os seus arrabaldes,

36And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs,

37Quedemote e os seus arrabaldes, e Mefaate e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.

37Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities.

38E da tribo de Gade, Ramote, cidade de refúgio do homicida, em Gileade, e os seus arrabaldes, e Maanaim e os seus arrabaldes,

38And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, {to be} a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

39Hesbom e os seus arrabaldes, Jazer e os seus arrabaldes; ao todo, quatro cidades.

39Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.

40Todas estas cidades foram dos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, que ainda restavam das famílias dos dos levitas; e foi a sua sorte doze cidades.

40So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were {by} their lot twelve cities.

41Todas as cidades dos levitas, no meio da herança dos filhos de Israel, foram quarenta e oito cidades e os seus arrabaldes.

41All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel {were} forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

42Estavam estas cidades, cada uma com os seus arrabaldes em redor delas; assim estavam todas estas cidades.

42These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus {were} all these cities.

43Desta maneira deu o Senhor a Israel toda a terra que jurara dar a seus pais; e a possuíram e habitaram nela.

43And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

44E o Senhor lhes deu repouso de todos os lados, conforme a tudo quanto jurara a seus pais; e nenhum de todos os seus inimigos pôde resisti-los; todos os seus inimigos o Senhor entregou-lhes nas mãos.

44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45Palavra alguma falhou de todas as boas coisas que o Senhor falou à casa de Israel; tudo se cumpriu.

45There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
