Josué 15

1A sorte que coube à tribo dos filhos de Judá, segundo as suas famílias, foi até ao termo de Edom, o deserto de Zim, para o sul, na extremidade do lado meridional.

1{This} then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; {even} to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward {was} the uttermost part of the south coast.

2E foi o seu termo para o sul, desde a extremidade do Mar Salgado, desde a baía que olha para o sul;

2And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward: {bay: Heb. tongue}

3E sai para o sul, até à subida de Acrabim, e passa a Zim, e sobe do sul a Cades-Barnéia, e passa por Hezrom, e sobe a Adar, e vira para Carca;

3And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa: {Maalehacrebbim: or, the going up to Acrabbim}

4E passa Azmom, e sai ao ribeiro do Egito, e as saídas deste termo vão até ao mar; este será o vosso termo do lado do sul.

4{From thence} it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

5O termo, porém, para o oriente será o Mar Salgado, até à foz do Jordão; e o termo para o norte será da baía do mar, desde a foz do Jordão.

5And the east border {was} the salt sea, {even} unto the end of Jordan. And {their} border in the north quarter {was} from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:

6E este termo subirá até Bete-Hogla, e passará do norte a Bete-Arabá, e este termo subirá até à pedra de Boã, filho de Rúben.

6And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

7Subirá mais este termo a Debir desde o vale de Acor, indo para o norte rumo a Gilgal, a qual está em frente da subida de Adumim, que está para o sul do ribeiro; então este termo continua até às águas de En-Semes; e as suas saídas estão do lado de En-Rogel.

7And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that {is} before the going up to Adummim, which {is} on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:

8E este termo sobe pelo vale do filho de Hinom, do lado sul dos jebuseus (esta é Jerusalém) e sobe este termo até ao cume do monte que está diante do vale de Hinom para o ocidente, que está no fim do vale dos refains do lado do norte.

8And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same {is} Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that {lieth} before the valley of Hinnom westward, which {is} at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

9Então este termo vai desde a altura do monte até à fonte das águas de Neftoa; e sai até às cidades do monte de Efrom; vai mais este termo até Baalá (esta é Quiriate-Jearim).

9And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which {is} Kirjathjearim:

10Então volta este termo desde Baalá para o ocidente, até às montanhas de Seir, e passa ao lado do monte de Jearim do lado do norte (esta é Quesalom) e desce a Bete-Semes, e passa por Timna;

10And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which {is} Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

11Sai este termo mais ao lado de Ecrom, para o norte, e este termo vai a Sicrom e passa o monte de Baalá, e sai em Jabneel; e assim este termo finda no mar.

11And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

12Será, porém, o termo do lado do ocidente o Mar Grande, e suas adjacências; este é o termo dos filhos de Judá ao redor, segundo as suas famílias.

12And the west border {was} to the great sea, and the coast {thereof}. This {is} the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

13Mas a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, deu uma parte no meio dos filhos de Judá, conforme a ordem do Senhor a Josué; a saber, a cidade de Arba, que é Hebrom; este Arba era pai de Anaque.

13And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, {even} the city of Arba the father of Anak, which {city is} Hebron. {the city...: or, Kirjatharba}

14E Calebe expulsou dali os três filhos de Anaque: Sesai, e Aimã, e Talmai, gerados de Anaque.

14And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

15E dali subiu aos habitantes de Debir; e fora antes o nome de Debir, Quiriate-Sefer.

15And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before {was} Kirjathsepher.

16E disse Calebe: Quem ferir a Quiriate-Sefer, e a tomar, lhe darei a minha filha Acsa por mulher.

16And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

17Tomou-a, pois, Otniel, filho de Quenaz, irmão de Calebe; e deu-lhe a sua filha Acsa por mulher.

17And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

18E sucedeu que, vindo ela a ele, o persuadiu que pedisse um campo a seu pai; e ela desceu do seu jumento; então Calebe lhe disse: Que é que tens?

18And it came to pass, as she came {unto him}, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off {her} ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?

19E ela disse: Dá-me uma bênção; pois me deste terra seca, dá-me também fontes de águas. Então lhe deu as fontes superiores e as fontes inferiores.

19Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.

20Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Judá, segundo as suas famílias.

20This {is} the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

21São, pois, as cidades da tribo dos filhos de Judá, até ao termo de Edom, no extremo sul: Cabzeel, e Eder, e Jagur.

21And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

22E Quiná, e Dimona, e Adada,

22And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,

23E Quedes, e Hazor, e Itnã,

23And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,

24Zife, e Telem, e Bealote,

24Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,

25E Hazor-Hadata, e Queriote-Hezrom (que é Hazor),

25And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, {and} Hezron, which {is} Hazor,

26Amã e Sema, e Moladá,

26Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,

27E Hazar-Gada, e Hesmom, e Bete-Palete,

27And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,

28E Hazar-Sual, e Berseba, e Biziotiá,

29Baalá, e Iim, e Azem,

30E Eltolade, e Quesil, e Hormá.

30And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,

31E Ziclague, e Madmana, e Sansana,

31And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

32E Lebaote, e Silim, e Aim, e Rimom; todas as cidades e as suas aldeias, vinte e nove.

32And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities {are} twenty and nine, with their villages:

33Nas planícies: Estaol, e Zorá, e Asná,

33{And} in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,

34E Zanoa, e En-Ganim, Tapua, e Enã.

34And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,

35E Jarmute, e Adulão, Socó, e Azeca,

35Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,

36E Saaraim, e Aditaim, e Gederá, e Gederotaim; catorze cidades e as suas aldeias.

36And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages: {and Gederothaim: or, or Gederothaim}

37Zenã, e Hadasa, e Migdal-Gade,

37Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,

38E Dileã, e Mizpe, e Jocteel,

38And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,

39Laquis, e Bozcate, e Eglom,

39Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,

40E Cabom, e Laamás, e Quitlis,

40And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,

41E Gederote, Bete-Dagom, e Naamá, e Maquedá, dezesseis cidades e as suas aldeias.

41And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:

42Libna, e Eter, e Asã,

42Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,

43E Iftá, e Asná, e Nezibe,

43And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

44E Queila, e Aczibe, e Maressa; nove cidades e as suas aldeias.

44And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:

45Ecrom, com suas vilas, e as suas aldeias.

45Ekron, with her towns and her villages:

46Desde Ecrom, e até ao mar, todas as que estão do lado de Asdode, e as suas aldeias.

46From Ekron even unto the sea, all that {lay} near Ashdod, with their villages: {near: Heb. by the place of}

47Asdode, com as suas vilas e as suas aldeias; Gaza, com as suas vilas e as suas aldeias, até ao rio do Egito, e o Mar Grande e o seu termo.

47Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border {thereof}:

48E nas montanhas: Samir, Jatir, e Socó.

48And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,

49E Daná, e Quiriate-Saná (que é Debir),

49And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which {is} Debir,

50E Anabe, Estemó, e Anim,

50And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

51E Gósen, e Holom, e Giló; onze cidades e as suas aldeias.

51And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:

52Arabe, e Dumá e Esã,

52Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,

53E Janim, e Bete-Tapua e Afeca,

53And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah, {Janum: or, Janus}

54E Hunta, e Quiriate-Arba (que é Hebrom), e Zior; nove cidades e as suas aldeias.

54And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which {is} Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:

55Maom, Carmelo, e Zife, e Jutá,

55Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,

56E Jizreel, e Jocdeão, e Zanoa,

56And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

57Caim, Gibeá, e Timna; dez cidades e as suas aldeias.

57Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:

58Halul, Bete-Zur, e Gedor,

58Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,

59E Maarate, e Bete-Anote, e Eltecom; seis cidades e as suas aldeias.

59And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:

60Quiriate-Baal (que é Quiriate-Jearim), e Rabá; duas cidades e as suas aldeias.

60Kirjathbaal, which {is} Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:

61No deserto: Bete-Arabá, Midim, e Secacá,

61In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,

62E Nibsã, e a Cidade do Sal, e En-Gedi; seis cidades e as suas aldeias.

62And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

63Não puderam, porém, os filhos de Judá expulsar os jebuseus que habitavam em Jerusalém; assim habitaram os jebuseus com os filhos de Judá em Jerusalém, até ao dia de hoje.

63As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
