4Tendo obtido boas provas de que tua mente está fixada em Deus como em uma rocha imóvel, glorifico em alta voz Seu nome por ter sido considerado digno de contemplar tua face irrepreensível, que posso sempre desfrutar em Deus! Rogo-te, pela graça com a qual estás revestido, que prossiga em teu curso e exorte a todos para que sejam salvos.

4Having obtained good proof that thy mind is fixed in God as upon an immoveable rock, I loudly glorify His name that I have been thought worthy to behold thy blameless face, which may I ever enjoy in God! I entreat thee, by the grace with which thou art clothed, to press forward in thy course, and to exhort all that they may be saved.

5Mantenha sua posição com todo cuidado, tanto na carne quanto no espírito.

5Maintain thy position with all care, both in the flesh and spirit.

6Tenha o cuidado de preservar a unidade, do que nada é melhor.

6Have a regard to preserve unity, than which nothing is better.

7Tenha paciência com todos, assim como o Senhor faz com você.

7Bear with all, even as the Lord does with thee.

8Apoie todos com amor, como você também faz.

8Support all in love, as also thou doest.

9Entregue-se à oração sem cessar.

9Give thyself to prayer without ceasing.

10Implore compreensão adicional ao que você já possui.

10Implore additional understanding to what thou already hast.

11Esteja vigilante, possuindo um espírito insone.

11Be watchful, possessing a sleepless spirit.

12Fale com cada homem separadamente, conforme Deus lhe permitir.

12Speak to every man separately, as God enables thee.

13Suporta as enfermidades de todos, como um atleta perfeito na vida cristã: onde o trabalho é grande, o ganho é ainda maior.

13Bear the infirmities of all, as being a perfect athlete in the Christian life: where the labour is great, the gain is all the more.
