1Chapter 6 — Preserve harmony.

2Visto que, portanto, nas pessoas acima mencionadas, contemplei toda a multidão de vocês com fé e amor, exorto-os a estudar para fazer todas as coisas com uma harmonia divina, enquanto seu bispo preside no lugar de Deus, e seus presbíteros no lugar da assembléia dos apóstolos, junto com seus diáconos, que são muito queridos para mim, e estão encarregados do ministério de Jesus Cristo, que estava com o Pai antes do início dos tempos, e no final foi revelado.

2Since therefore I have, in the persons before mentioned, beheld the whole multitude of you in faith and love, I exhort you to study to do all things with a divine harmony, while your bishop presides in the place of God, and your presbyters in the place of the assembly of the apostles, along with your deacons, who are most dear to me, and are entrusted with the ministry of Jesus Christ, who was with the Father before the beginning of time, and in the end was revealed.

3Então, todos vós, imitando a mesma conduta divina, respeitai-vos uns aos outros e não deixeis que ninguém olhe para o próximo segundo a carne, mas amai-vos continuamente uns aos outros em Jesus Cristo.

3Do ye all then, imitating the same divine conduct, pay respect to one another, and let no one look upon his neighbour after the flesh, but do ye continually love each other in Jesus Christ.

4Não deixem que exista entre vocês nada que possa dividi-los; mas esteja unido ao seu bispo e àqueles que o presidem, como um tipo e evidência de sua imortalidade.

4Let nothing exist among you that may divide you; but be ye united with your bishop, and those that preside over you, as a type and evidence of your immortality.

5Visto que, portanto, nas pessoas acima mencionadas, contemplei toda a multidão de vocês com fé e amor, exorto-os a estudar para fazer todas as coisas com uma harmonia divina, enquanto seu bispo preside no lugar de Deus, e seus presbíteros no lugar da assembléia dos apóstolos, junto com seus diáconos, que são muito queridos para mim e aos quais foi confiado o ministério de Jesus Cristo.

5Since therefore I have, in the persons before mentioned, beheld the whole multitude of you in faith and love, I exhort you to study to do all things with a divine harmony, while your bishop presides in the place of God, and your presbyters in the place of the assembly of the apostles, along with your deacons, who are most dear to me, and are entrusted with the ministry of Jesus Christ.

6Ele, sendo gerado pelo Pai antes do início dos tempos, era Deus, o Verbo, o Filho unigênito, e permanece o mesmo para sempre; pois “do Seu reino não haverá fim”, diz o profeta Daniel.

6He, being begotten by the Father before the beginning of time, was God the Word, the only-begotten Son, and remains the same for ever; for "of His kingdom there shall be no end," says Daniel the prophet.

7Portanto, amemos todos uns aos outros em harmonia, e ninguém olhe para o próximo segundo a carne, mas em Cristo Jesus.

7Let us all therefore love one another in harmony, and let no one look upon his neighbour according to the flesh, but in Christ Jesus.

8Não deixem que exista entre vocês nada que possa dividi-los; mas sede unidos ao vosso bispo, estando por ele sujeitos a Deus em Cristo.

8Let nothing exist among you which may divide you; but be ye united with your bishop, being through him subject to God in Christ.
