1Capítulo 13 - Estabeleça-se na fé e na unidade.

1Chapter 13 — Be established in faith and unity.

2Estudai, portanto, para vos estabelecerdes nas doutrinas do Senhor e dos apóstolos, para que todas as coisas, tudo o que fizerdes, prospere tanto na carne como no espírito; na fé e no amor; no Filho, e no Pai, e no Espírito; no começo e no fim; com o seu admirável bispo, e a bem compactada coroa espiritual do seu presbitério, e os diáconos que são segundo Deus.

2Study, therefore, to be established in the doctrines of the Lord and the apostles, that so all things, whatsoever ye do, may prosper both in the flesh and spirit; in faith and love; in the Son, and in the Father, and in the Spirit; in the beginning and in the end; with your most admirable bishop, and the well-compacted spiritual crown of your presbytery, and the deacons who are according to God.

3Estai sujeitos ao bispo e uns aos outros, como Jesus Cristo ao Pai, segundo a carne, e os apóstolos a Cristo, e ao Pai, e ao Espírito; para que possa haver uma união tanto carnal quanto espiritual.

3Be ye subject to the bishop, and to one another, as Jesus Christ to the Father, according to the flesh, and the apostles to Christ, and to the Father, and to the Spirit; that so there may be a union both fleshly and spiritual.

4Estudai, portanto, para vos firmares nas doutrinas do Senhor e dos apóstolos, para que assim todas as coisas, tudo o que fizerdes, prosperem, tanto na carne como no espírito, na fé e no amor, com o vosso admirável bispo, e a bem compactada coroa espiritual do vosso presbitério, e os diáconos que são segundo Deus.

4Study, therefore, to be established in the doctrines of the Lord and the apostles, that so all things, whatsoever ye do, may prosper, both in the flesh and spirit, in faith and love, with your most admirable bishop, and the well-compacted spiritual crown of your presbytery, and the deacons who are according to God.

5Estai sujeitos ao bispo e uns aos outros, como Cristo ao Pai, para que haja entre vós unidade segundo Deus.

5Be ye subject to the bishop, and to one another, as Christ to the Father, that there may be a unity according to God among you.
