1Chapter 20 — Exhortations to stedfastness and unity.

2Permaneçam firmes, irmãos, na fé de Jesus Cristo e em Seu amor, em Sua paixão e em Sua ressurreição.

2Stand fast, brethren, in the faith of Jesus Christ, and in His love, in His passion, and in His resurrection.

3Todos vocês se reúnem em comum e individualmente, pela graça, em uma fé em Deus Pai, e em Jesus Cristo, Seu Filho unigênito, e "o primogênito de toda criatura", mas da semente de Davi segundo a carne, estando sob a orientação do Consolador, em obediência ao bispo e ao presbitério com uma mente indivisa, partindo um único e mesmo pão, que é o remédio da imortalidade, e o antídoto que nos impede de morrer, mas um remédio purificador que afasta o mal, que faz com que vivamos em Deus através de Jesus Cristo.

3Do ye all come together in common, and individually, through grace, in one faith of God the Father, and of Jesus Christ His only-begotten Son, and "the first-born of every creature," but of the seed of David according to the flesh, being under the guidance of the Comforter, in obedience to the bishop and the presbytery with an undivided mind, breaking one and the same bread, which is the medicine of immortality, and the antidote which prevents us from dying, but a cleansing remedy driving away evil, which causes that we should live in God through Jesus Christ.
