Hebreus 10

1Porque tendo a lei a sombra dos bens futuros, e não a imagem exata das coisas, nunca, pelos mesmos sacrifícios que continuamente se oferecem cada ano, pode aperfeiçoar os que a eles se chegam.

1For the law having a shadow of good things to come, {and} not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

2Doutra maneira, teriam deixado de se oferecer, porque, purificados uma vez os ministrantes, nunca mais teriam consciência de pecado.

2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. {would...: or, they would have ceased to be offered, because, etc.}

3Nesses sacrifícios, porém, cada ano se faz comemoração dos pecados,

3But in those {sacrifices there is} a remembrance again {made} of sins every year.

4Porque é impossível que o sangue dos touros e dos bodes tire os pecados.

4For {it is} not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5Por isso, entrando no mundo, diz: Sacrifício e oferta não quiseste, Mas corpo me preparaste;

5Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: {hast...: or, thou hast fitted me}

6Holocaustos e oblações pelo pecado não te agradaram.

6In burnt offerings and {sacrifices} for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

7Então disse: Eis aqui venho(No princípio do livro está escrito de mim),Para fazer, ó Deus, a tua vontade.

7Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

8Como acima diz: Sacrifício e oferta, e holocaustos e oblações pelo pecado não quiseste, nem te agradaram (os quais se oferecem segundo a lei).

8Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and {offering} for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure {therein}; which are offered by the law;

9Então disse: Eis aqui venho, para fazer, ó Deus, a tua vontade. Tira o primeiro, para estabelecer o segundo.

9Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

10Na qual vontade temos sido santificados pela oblação do corpo de Jesus Cristo, feita uma vez.

10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once {for all}.

11E assim todo o sacerdote aparece cada dia, ministrando e oferecendo muitas vezes os mesmos sacrifícios, que nunca podem tirar os pecados;

11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12Mas este, havendo oferecido para sempre um único sacrifício pelos pecados, está assentado à destra de Deus,

12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13Daqui em diante esperando até que os seus inimigos sejam postos por escabelo de seus pés.

13From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14Porque com uma só oblação aperfeiçoou para sempre os que são santificados.

14For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

15E também o Espírito Santo no-lo testifica, porque depois de haver dito:

15{Whereof} the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16Esta é a aliança que farei com eles Depois daqueles dias, diz o Senhor:Porei as minhas leis em seus corações,E as escreverei em seus entendimentos; acrescenta:

16This {is} the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17E jamais me lembrarei de seus pecados e de suas iniqüidades.

17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. {And their: some copies have, Then he said, And their}

18Ora, onde há remissão destes, não há mais oblação pelo pecado.

18Now where remission of these {is, there is} no more offering for sin.

19Tendo, pois, irmãos, ousadia para entrar no santuário, pelo sangue de Jesus,

19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, {boldness: or, liberty}

20Pelo novo e vivo caminho que ele nos consagrou, pelo véu, isto é, pela sua carne,

20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; {consecrated: or, new made}

21E tendo um grande sacerdote sobre a casa de Deus,

21And {having} an high priest over the house of God;

22Cheguemo-nos com verdadeiro coração, em inteira certeza de fé, tendo os corações purificados da má consciência, e o corpo lavado com água limpa,

22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23Retenhamos firmes a confissão da nossa esperança; porque fiel é o que prometeu.

23Let us hold fast the profession of {our} faith without wavering; (for he {is} faithful that promised;)

24E consideremo-nos uns aos outros, para nos estimularmos ao amor e às boas obras,

24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25Não deixando a nossa congregação, como é costume de alguns, antes admoestando-nos uns aos outros; e tanto mais, quanto vedes que se vai aproximando aquele dia.

25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some {is}; but exhorting {one another}: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26Porque, se pecarmos voluntariamente, depois de termos recebido o conhecimento da verdade, já não resta mais sacrifício pelos pecados,

26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27Mas uma certa expectação horrível de juízo, e ardor de fogo, que há de devorar os adversários.

27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28Quebrantando alguém a lei de Moisés, morre sem misericórdia, só pela palavra de duas ou três testemunhas.

28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29De quanto maior castigo cuidais vós será julgado merecedor aquele que pisar o Filho de Deus, e tiver por profano o sangue da aliança com que foi santificado, e fizer agravo ao Espírito da graça?

29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30Porque bem conhecemos aquele que disse: Minha é a vingança, eu darei a recompensa, diz o Senhor. E outra vez: O Senhor julgará o seu povo.

30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance {belongeth} unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31Horrenda coisa é cair nas mãos do Deus vivo.

31{It is} a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32Lembrai-vos, porém, dos dias passados, em que, depois de serdes iluminados, suportastes grande combate de aflições.

32But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

33Em parte fostes feitos espetáculo com vitupérios e tribulações, e em parte fostes participantes com os que assim foram tratados.

33Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

34Porque também vos compadecestes das minhas prisões, e com alegria permitistes o roubo dos vossos bens, sabendo que em vós mesmos tendes nos céus uma possessão melhor e permanente.

34For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. {in yourselves...: or, that ye have in or, for} yourselves}

35Não rejeiteis, pois, a vossa confiança, que tem grande e avultado galardão.

35Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36Porque necessitais de paciência, para que, depois de haverdes feito a vontade de Deus, possais alcançar a promessa.

36For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37Porque ainda um pouquinho de tempo, E o que há de vir virá, e não tardará.

37For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38Mas o justo viverá pela fé; E, se ele recuar, a minha alma não tem prazer nele.

38Now the just shall live by faith: but if {any man} draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39Nós, porém, não somos daqueles que se retiram para a perdição, mas daqueles que crêem para a conservação da alma.

39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
