Gênesis 36

1E estas são as gerações de Esaú (que é Edom).

1Now these {are} the generations of Esau, who {is} Edom.

2Esaú tomou suas mulheres das filhas de Canaã; a Ada, filha de Elom, heteu, e a Aolibama, filha de Aná, filho de Zibeão, heveu.

2Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

3E a Basemate, filha de Ismael, irmã de Nebaiote.

3And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth. {Bashemath: or, Mahalath}

4E Ada teve de Esaú a Elifaz; e Basemate teve a Reuel;

4And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

5E Aolibama deu à luz a Jeús, Jalão e Coré; estes são os filhos de Esaú, que lhe nasceram na terra de Canaã.

5And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these {are} the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.

6E Esaú tomou suas mulheres, e seus filhos, e suas filhas, e todas as almas de sua casa, e seu gado, e todos os seus animais, e todos os seus bens, que havia adquirido na terra de Canaã; e foi para outra terra apartando-se de Jacó, seu irmão;

6And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. {persons: Heb. souls}

7Porque os bens deles eram muitos para habitarem juntos; e a terra de suas peregrinações não os podia sustentar por causa do seu gado.

7For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

8Portanto Esaú habitou na montanha de Seir; Esaú é Edom.

8Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau {is} Edom.

9Estas, pois, são as gerações de Esaú, pai dos edomeus, na montanha de Seir.

9And these {are} the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir: {the Edomites: Heb. Edom}

10Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, filho de Ada, mulher de Esaú; Reuel, filho de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.

10These {are} the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

11E os filhos de Elifaz foram: Temã, Omar, Zefô, Gaetã e Quenaz.

11And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz. {Zepho: or, Zephi}

12E Timna era concubina de Elifaz, filho de Esaú, e teve de Elifaz a Amaleque. Estes são os filhos de Ada, mulher de Esaú.

12And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these {were} the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

13E estes foram os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá e Mizá; estes foram os filhos de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.

13And these {are} the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

14E estes foram os filhos de Aolibama, mulher de Esaú, filha de Aná, filho de Zibeão; ela teve de Esaú: Jeús, Jalão e Coré.

14And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

15Estes são os príncipes dos filhos de Esaú: os filhos de Elifaz, o primogênito de Esaú, o príncipe Temã, o príncipe Omar, o príncipe Zefô, o príncipe Quenaz.

15These {were} dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn {son} of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,

16O príncipe Coré, o príncipe Gaetã, o príncipe Amaleque; estes são os príncipes de Elifaz na terra de Edom; estes são os filhos de Ada.

16Duke Korah, duke Gatam, {and} duke Amalek: these {are} the dukes {that came} of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these {were} the sons of Adah.

17E estes são os filhos de Reuel, filhos de Esaú: o príncipe Naate, o príncipe Zerá, o príncipe Samá, o príncipe Mizá; estes são os príncipes de Reuel, na terra de Edom; estes são os filhos de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.

17And these {are} the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these {are} the dukes {that came} of Reuel in the land of Edom; these {are} the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

18E estes são os filhos de Aolibama, mulher de Esaú: o príncipe Jeús, o príncipe Jalão, o príncipe Coré; estes são os príncipes de Aolibama, filha de Aná, mulher de Esaú.

18And these {are} the sons of Aholibamah Esau's wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these {were} the dukes {that came} of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.

19Estes são os filhos de Esaú, e estes são seus príncipes: Ele é Edom.

19These {are} the sons of Esau, who {is} Edom, and these {are} their dukes.

20Estes são os filhos de Seir, horeu, moradores daquela terra: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão e Aná,

20These {are} the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,

21Disom, Eser e Disã; estes são os príncipes dos horeus, filhos de Seir, na terra de Edom.

21And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these {are} the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

22E os filhos de Lotã foram Hori e Homã; e a irmã de Lotã era Timna.

22And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister {was} Timna. {Hemam: or, Homam}

23Estes são os filhos de Sobal: Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefô e Onã.

23And the children of Shobal {were} these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. {Alvan: or, Alian} {Shepho: or, Shephi}

24E estes são os filhos de Zibeão: Aiá e Aná; este é o Aná que achou as fontes termais no deserto, quando apascentava os jumentos de Zibeão, seu pai.

24And these {are} the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this {was that} Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

25E estes são os filhos de Aná: Disom e Aolibama, a filha de Aná.

25And the children of Anah {were} these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

26E estes são os filhos de Disã: Hendã, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.

26And these {are} the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran. {Hemdan: or, Amram}

27Estes são os filhos de Eser: Bilã, Zaavã e Acã.

27The children of Ezer {are} these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. {Akan: or, Jakan}

28Estes são os filhos de Disã: Uz e Arã.

28The children of Dishan {are} these; Uz, and Aran.

29Estes são os príncipes dos horeus: o príncipe Lotã, o príncipe Sobal, o príncipe Zibeão, o príncipe Aná.

29These {are} the dukes {that came} of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,

30O príncipe Disom, o príncipe Eser, o príncipe Disã: estes são os príncipes dos horeus segundo os seus principados na terra de Seir.

30Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these {are} the dukes {that came} of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.

31E estes são os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que reinasse rei algum sobre os filhos de Israel.

31And these {are} the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

32Reinou, pois, em Edom Bela, filho de Beor, e o nome da sua cidade foi Dinabá.

32And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city {was} Dinhabah.

33E morreu Bela; e Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra, reinou em seu lugar.

33And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

34E morreu Jobabe; e Husão, da terra dos temanitas, reinou em seu lugar.

34And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.

35E morreu Husão, e em seu lugar reinou Hadade, filho de Bedade, o que feriu a Midiã, no campo de Moabe; e o nome da sua cidade foi Avite.

35And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city {was} Avith.

36E morreu Hadade; e Samlá de Masreca reinou em seu lugar.

36And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

37E morreu Samlá; e Saul de Reobote, junto ao rio, reinou em seu lugar.

37And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth {by} the river reigned in his stead.

38E morreu Saul; e Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor, reinou em seu lugar.

38And Saul died, and Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

39E morreu Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor; e Hadar reinou em seu lugar, e o nome de sua cidade foi Pau; e o nome de sua mulher foi Meetabel, filha de Matrede, filha de Me-Zaabe.

39And Baalhanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city {was} Pau; and his wife's name {was} Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab. {Hadar, Pau: or, Hadad, Pai: after his death was an Aristocracy}

40E estes são os nomes dos príncipes de Esaú, segundo as suas gerações, segundo os seus lugares, com os seus nomes: o príncipe Timna, o príncipe Alva, o príncipe Jetete,

40And these {are} the names of the dukes {that came} of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth, {Alvah: or, Aliah}

41O príncipe Aolibama, o príncipe Ela, o príncipe Pinom,

41Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

42O príncipe Quenaz, o príncipe Temã, o príncipe Mibzar,

42Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

43O príncipe Magdiel, o príncipe Irã: estes são os príncipes de Edom, segundo as suas habitações, na terra da sua possessão. Este é Esaú, pai de Edom.

43Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these {be} the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he {is} Esau the father of the Edomites. {the Edomites: Heb. Edom}
