Livro de Gade 2

1Depois dessas coisas verdadeiras, tive uma visão de Deus dizendo:

1After these true things, I had a vision from God saying:

2“Vire seu rosto para o leste, para o norte, para o sul e para o oeste.

2“Set your face eastward, northward, southward, and westward.

3E assobie com a boca como um pássaro assobia para seus filhotes e diga: ‘Quatro cantos da terra, ouçam a Palavra do Senhor.

3And whistle with your mouth as a bird whistles to its young and say: ‘Four corners of the earth, listen to the Word of the LORD.

4Assim diz o Senhor, que está assentado e habita sobre os querubins: ‘Dai, dai, dai, tirai, tirai, tirai a minha semente que semeei em vós, porque chegou o tempo da semente.

4Thus saith the LORD, who sits and dwells over the cherubim: ‘Give, give, give, take out, take out, take out My seed that I have sown in you, for the time for the seed has come.

5Por ainda um pouco recolherei a minha semente na minha eira.

5For yet a little while I shall collect My seed on My threshing floor.

6E a eira será santa; uma semente impura não será encontrada ali.

6And the threshing floor will be holy; an impure seed will not be found there.

7Antes daqueles dias, Minha semente era misturada com lentilhas, e cevada, e ervilhaca, feijão e cabaças.

7Prior to those days My seed was mixed with lentils, and barley, and fitches, beans, and gourds.

8E no fim dos dias o semeador será verdadeiro e a semente será verdadeira e da semente toda a terra será abençoada.

8And in the end of days the sower shall be true and the seed shall be true and from the seed all the land will be blessed.

9Alegrem-se e alegrem-se, remanescentes de Judá e rejeitados de Israel, pois a salvação está com o Senhor.

9Be joyful and glad, remnant of Judah and rejected of Israel, for salvation is with the LORD.

10Assim como você será uma maldição e uma blasfêmia para todas as famílias da terra, você será uma bênção e uma graça para sempre.

10As you shall be a curse and blasphemy to all the families of the earth, so shall you be a blessing and grace forever.

11Naquele tempo não haverá entre vocês pessoas amaldiçoadas ou profanas,

11At that time no cursed or unholy people will be found among you,

12pois todos se juntarão a você na aliança, na Lei, nos testemunhos, nos estatutos e nas ordenanças.

12for everyone will join you in the covenant, the Law, testimonies, statutes, and ordinances.

13E você e eles terão um Deus, uma aliança, uma lei, uma língua, pois todos falarão na língua hebraica, a língua sagrada.

13And you and they shall have one God, one covenant, one law, one language, for all shall speak in the language of Hebrew, the holy language.

14Bem-aventurado és tu, ó Israel, quem é semelhante a ti? Um povo salvo pelo Senhor, pois Ele irá adiante de vocês para travar suas guerras contra seus inimigos.

14Blessed are you, O Israel, who is like unto you? A people saved by the LORD, for He will go before you to fight your wars with your enemies.

15Ai de você, ó Edom, que mora na terra de Quitim, ao norte do mar.

15Woe to you, O Edom, that sits in the land of Kittim in the north of the sea.

16Pois os seus destruidores surgirão de uma nação terrível. Eles não vão deixar nem um remanescente para você.

16For your destroyers will emerge from a terrible nation. They will not even leave you a remnant.

17Pois você disse: 'Eu estou sentado no alto, e só eu tenho uma aliança com o Deus dos deuses, pois o Senhor me escolheu em lugar do seu povo santo, pois ele os abominou.

17For you have said: ‘I sit on high, and only I have a covenant with the God of gods, for the LORD chose me instead of His holy people, for He abhorred them.

18E o Seu antigo povo, desprezado e rejeitado, não conheceu verdadeiramente o Senhor [o Pai] porque não conheceu a Sua imagem [o Filho].

18And His former people, despised and rejected, did not truly know the LORD [the Father] because they did not know His image [the Son].

19Somos verdadeiramente sábios e inteligentes; conhecemos o Senhor e a Sua Lei, conhecemos a Sua imagem [o Filho] e a Sua presença [o Espírito Santo].’

19We are truly wise and intelligent; we know the LORD and His Law, we know His image [the Son] and presence [the Holy Spirit].’

20Mas assim diz o Senhor: ‘Visto que vocês se orgulharam do Deus dos deuses, saibam que vocês perecerão por causa da sua arrogância.

20But thus says the LORD: ‘Because you rose up in pride to brag about the God of gods, know that you will perish in your conceitedness.

21Pois por que você confiaria no homem, cuja vida é como um vapor, que começa pela manhã e vai embora ao meio-dia, colocando-o para sentar-se ao lado de Deus?

21For why would you put confidence in man, whose life is like a vapor, which begins in the morning, and is gone by noon-day, placing him to sit beside God.

22Pois não é você quem eu conheci anteriormente, e onde está a carta de divórcio do Meu povo, que você disse que seria uma presa; mostre-me!

22For it is not you whom I knew formerly, and where is the bill of divorce of My people, that you said would be a prey; show it to Me!

23Seus cadáveres cairão entre o Meu povo.’

23Your corpses will fall among My people.’

24Ó zeloso Senhor, sai; saia do seu lugar e destrua Edom; consumi-los.

24O jealous Yahweh, come out; come out of your place and smite Edom; consume them.

25Venha para Zerepta, venha para Sefarad, venha para Ashkenaz, venha para Garmania; eles virão e cairão no abismo mais profundo, na destruição e na sombra da morte, pois a tua boca te falhará e ninguém te ajudará.

25Come to Zerephath, come to Sepharad, come to Ashkenaz, come to Garmania; they shall come and fall in the lowest pit, in destruction, and in the shadow of death, for your mouth will fail you, and no one will help you.

26No final dos dias, Miguel, o grande príncipe, se levantará em guerra como um redemoinho contra Samael, o príncipe deste mundo, para colocá-lo sob seus pés, no vento do Senhor, e será devorado; porque o Senhor o disse.

26At the end of days Michael the great prince will stand up in war like a whirlwind against Samael the prince of this world to put him under his feet, in the wind of the LORD, and it shall be eaten up; for the LORD has spoken it.

27No final dos dias, o roubado vencerá o ladrão, e os fracos, os fortes, em verdade e em justiça.

27At the end of days the robbed will overcome the robber, and the weak, the strong, truly and in righteousness.

28O teu Deus é o teu Salvador, ó Israel; com Ele você será salvo, pois Ele é um Deus misericordioso. Ele não vai te abandonar,

28Your God is your Savior, O Israel; with Him you will be saved, for He is a merciful God. He will not abandon you,

29pois você continuará fazendo tudo o que lhe ordenei na Lei de Moisés, meu servo.’

29for you shall keep on doing all that I commanded you in the Law of Moses My servant.’
