Filipenses 4

1Portanto, meus amados e mui queridos irmãos, minha alegria e coroa, estai assim firmes no Senhor, amados.

1Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, {my} dearly beloved.

2Rogo a Evódia, e rogo a Síntique, que sintam o mesmo no Senhor.

2I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

3E peço-te também a ti, meu verdadeiro companheiro, que ajudes essas mulheres que trabalharam comigo no evangelho, e com Clemente, e com os meus outros cooperadores, cujos nomes estão no livro da vida.

3And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and {with} other my fellowlabourers, whose names {are} in the book of life.

4Regozijai-vos sempre no Senhor; outra vez digo, regozijai-vos.

4Rejoice in the Lord alway: {and} again I say, Rejoice.

5Seja a vossa eqüidade notória a todos os homens. Perto está o Senhor.

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord {is} at hand.

6Não estejais inquietos por coisa alguma; antes as vossas petições sejam em tudo conhecidas diante de Deus pela oração e súplica, com ação de graças.

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7E a paz de Deus, que excede todo o entendimento, guardará os vossos corações e os vossos pensamentos em Cristo Jesus.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Quanto ao mais, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é honesto, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amável, tudo o que é de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai.

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things {are} honest, whatsoever things {are} just, whatsoever things {are} pure, whatsoever things {are} lovely, whatsoever things {are} of good report; if {there be} any virtue, and if {there be} any praise, think on these things. {honest: or, venerable}

9O que também aprendestes, e recebestes, e ouvistes, e vistes em mim, isso fazei; e o Deus de paz será convosco.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

10Ora, muito me regozijei no Senhor por finalmente reviver a vossa lembrança de mim; pois já vos tínheis lembrado, mas não tínheis tido oportunidade.

10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. {hath...: or, is revived}

11Não digo isto como por necessidade, porque já aprendi a contentar-me com o que tenho.

11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, {therewith} to be content.

12Sei estar abatido, e sei também ter abundância; em toda a maneira, e em todas as coisas estou instruído, tanto a ter fartura, como a ter fome; tanto a ter abundância, como a padecer necessidade.

12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13Posso todas as coisas em Cristo que me fortalece.

13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

14Todavia fizestes bem em tomar parte na minha aflição.

14Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

15E bem sabeis também, ó filipenses, que, no princípio do evangelho, quando parti da macedônia, nenhuma igreja comunicou comigo com respeito a dar e a receber, senão vós somente;

15Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16Porque também uma e outra vez me mandastes o necessário a tessalônica.

16For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17Não que procure dádivas, mas procuro o fruto que cresça para a vossa conta.

17Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18Mas bastante tenho recebido, e tenho abundância. Cheio estou, depois que recebi de Epafrodito o que da vossa parte me foi enviado, como cheiro de suavidade e sacrifício agradável e aprazível a Deus.

18But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things {which were sent} from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. {I have all: or, I have received all}

19O meu Deus, segundo as suas riquezas, suprirá todas as vossas necessidades em glória, por Cristo Jesus.

19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20Ora, a nosso Deus e Pai seja dada glória para todo o sempre. Amém.

20Now unto God and our Father {be} glory for ever and ever. Amen.

21Saudai a todos os santos em Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo vos saúdam.

21Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

22Todos os santos vos saúdam, mas principalmente os que são da casa de César.

22All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.

23A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com vós todos. Amém.
