Filipenses 3

1Resta, irmãos meus, que vos regozijeis no Senhor. Não me aborreço de escrever-vos as mesmas coisas, e é segurança para vós.

1Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed {is} not grievous, but for you {it is} safe.

2Guardai-vos dos cães, guardai-vos dos maus obreiros, guardai-vos da circuncisão;

2Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

3Porque a circuncisão somos nós, que servimos a Deus em espírito, e nos gloriamos em Jesus Cristo, e não confiamos na carne.

3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

4Ainda que também podia confiar na carne; se algum outro cuida que pode confiar na carne, ainda mais eu:

4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

5Circuncidado ao oitavo dia, da linhagem de Israel, da tribo de Benjamim, hebreu de hebreus; segundo a lei, fui fariseu;

5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, {of} the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

6Segundo o zelo, perseguidor da igreja, segundo a justiça que há na lei, irrepreensível.

6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

7Mas o que para mim era ganho reputei-o perda por Cristo.

7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

8E, na verdade, tenho também por perda todas as coisas, pela excelência do conhecimento de Cristo Jesus, meu Senhor; pelo qual sofri a perda de todas estas coisas, e as considero como escória, para que possa ganhar a Cristo,

8Yea doubtless, and I count all things {but} loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them {but} dung, that I may win Christ,

9E seja achado nele, não tendo a minha justiça que vem da lei, mas a que vem pela fé em Cristo, a saber, a justiça que vem de Deus pela fé;

9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

10Para conhecê-lo, e à virtude da sua ressurreição, e à comunicação de suas aflições, sendo feito conforme à sua morte;

10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11Para ver se de alguma maneira posso chegar à ressurreição dentre os mortos.

11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12Não que já a tenha alcançado, ou que seja perfeito; mas prossigo para alcançar aquilo para o que fui também preso por Cristo Jesus.

12Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13Irmãos, quanto a mim, não julgo que o haja alcançado; mas uma coisa faço, e é que, esquecendo-me das coisas que atrás ficam, e avançando para as que estão diante de mim,

13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but {this} one thing {I do}, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14Prossigo para o alvo, pelo prêmio da soberana vocação de Deus em Cristo Jesus.

14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15Por isso todos quantos já somos perfeitos, sintamos isto mesmo; e, se sentis alguma coisa de outra maneira, também Deus vo-lo revelará.

15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

16Mas, naquilo a que já chegamos, andemos segundo a mesma regra, e sintamos o mesmo.

16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

17Sede também meus imitadores, irmãos, e tende cuidado, segundo o exemplo que tendes em nós, pelos que assim andam.

17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

18Porque muitos há, dos quais muitas vezes vos disse, e agora também digo, chorando, que são inimigos da cruz de Cristo,

18(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, {that they are} the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19Cujo fim é a perdição; cujo Deus é o ventre, e cuja glória é para confusão deles, que só pensam nas coisas terrenas.

19Whose end {is} destruction, whose God {is their} belly, and {whose} glory {is} in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

20Mas a nossa cidade está nos céus, de onde também esperamos o Salvador, o Senhor Jesus Cristo,

20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: {conversation...: or, we live or conduct ourselves as citizens of heaven, or, for obtaining heaven}

21Que transformará o nosso corpo abatido, para ser conforme o seu corpo glorioso, segundo o seu eficaz poder de sujeitar também a si todas as coisas.

21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
