Ezequiel 32

1E sucedeu que, no ano duodécimo, no duodécimo mês, ao primeiro do mês, veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:

1And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first {day} of the month, {that} the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre Faraó, rei do Egito, e dize-lhe: Eras semelhante a um filho do leão entre as nações, mas tu és como uma baleia nos mares, e rompias os teus rios, e turbavas as águas com os teus pés, e pisavas os teus rios.

2Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou {art} as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers. {whale: or, dragon}

3Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Portanto, estenderei sobre ti a minha rede com reunião de muitos povos, e te farão subir na minha rede.

3Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.

4Então te deixarei em terra; sobre a face do campo te lançarei, e farei posar sobre ti todas as aves do céu, e fartarei de ti os animais de toda a terra.

4Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.

5E porei as tuas carnes sobre os montes, e encherei os vales da tua altura.

5And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.

6E regarei com o teu sangue a terra onde nadas, até aos montes; e os rios se encherão de ti.

6I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, {even} to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee. {the land wherein...: or, the land of thy swimming}

7E, apagando-te eu, cobrirei os céus, e enegrecerei as suas estrelas; ao sol encobrirei com uma nuvem, e a lua não fará resplandecer a sua luz.

7And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. {put...: or, extinguish thee}

8Todas as brilhantes luzes do céu enegrecerei sobre ti, e trarei trevas sobre a tua terra, diz o Senhor DEUS.

8All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD. {bright...: Heb. lights of the light in heaven} {dark: Heb. them dark}

9E afligirei os corações de muitos povos, quando eu levar a tua destruição entre as nações, às terras que não conheceste.

9I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known. {vex: Heb. provoke to anger, or, grief}

10E farei com que muitos povos fiquem pasmados de ti, e os seus reis tremam sobremaneira, quando eu brandir a minha espada ante os seus rostos; e estremecerão a cada momento, cada um pela sua vida, no dia da tua queda.

10Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at {every} moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.

11Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: A espada do rei de babilônia virá sobre ti.

11For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

12Farei cair a tua multidão pelas espadas dos poderosos, que são todos os mais terríveis das nações; e destruirão a soberba do Egito, e toda a sua multidão será destruída.

12By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.

13E exterminarei todos os seus animais sobre as muitas águas; nem as turbará mais pé de homem, nem as turbarão unhas de animais.

13I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

14Então farei assentar as suas águas, e farei correr os seus rios como o azeite, diz o Senhor DEUS.

14Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.

15Quando eu tornar a terra do Egito em desolação, e ela for despojada da sua plenitude, e quando ferir a todos os que habitam nela, então saberão que eu sou o Senhor.

15When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I {am} the LORD. {destitute...: Heb. desolate from the fulness thereof}

16Esta é a lamentação que se fará; que as filhas das nações farão; sobre o Egito e sobre toda a sua multidão, diz o Senhor DEUS.

16This {is} the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, {even} for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

17E sucedeu que, no ano duodécimo, aos quinze do mês, veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

17It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth {day} of the month, {that} the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

18Filho do homem, pranteia sobre a multidão do Egito, e faze-a descer, a ela e às filhas das nações magníficas, às partes mais baixas da terra, juntamente com os que descem à cova.

18Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, {even} her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.

19A quem sobrepujas tu em formosura? Desce, e deita-te com os incircuncisos.

19Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.

20No meio daqueles que foram mortos à espada cairão; à espada ela está entregue; arrastai-a e a toda a sua multidão.

20They shall fall in the midst of {them that are} slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes. {she...: or, the sword is laid}

21Os mais poderosos dos fortes lhe falarão desde o meio do inferno, com os que a socorrem; desceram, jazeram com os incircuncisos mortos à espada.

21The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

22Ali está Assur com toda a sua multidão; em redor dele estão os seus sepulcros; todos eles mortos, abatidos à espada.

22Asshur {is} there and all her company: his graves {are} about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:

23Os seus sepulcros foram postos nas extremidades da cova, e a sua multidão está em redor do seu sepulcro; todos eles mortos, abatidos à espada; os que tinham causado espanto na terra dos viventes.

23Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living. {terror: or, dismaying}

24Ali está Elão com toda a sua multidão em redor do seu sepulcro; todos eles mortos, abatidos à espada; desceram incircuncisos às partes mais baixas da terra, causaram terror na terra dos viventes e levaram a sua vergonha com os que desceram à cova.

24There {is} Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

25No meio dos mortos lhe puseram uma cama, entre toda a sua multidão; ao redor dele estão os seus sepulcros; todos eles são incircuncisos, mortos à espada; porque causaram terror na terra dos viventes, e levaram a sua vergonha com os que desceram à cova; foi posto no meio dos mortos.

25They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves {are} round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of {them that be} slain.

26Ali estão Meseque, Tubal e toda a sua multidão; ao redor deles estão os seus sepulcros; todos eles são incircuncisos, e mortos à espada, porquanto causaram terror na terra dos viventes.

26There {is} Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves {are} round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.

27Porém não jazerão com os poderosos que caíram dos incircuncisos, os quais desceram ao inferno com as suas armas de guerra e puseram as suas espadas debaixo das suas cabeças; e a sua iniqüidade está sobre os seus ossos, porquanto eram o terror dos fortes na terra dos viventes.

27And they shall not lie with the mighty {that are} fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though {they were} the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. {with their...: Heb. with weapons of their war}

28Também tu serás quebrado no meio dos incircuncisos, e jazerás com os que foram mortos à espada.

28Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with {them that are} slain with the sword.

29Ali está Edom, os seus reis e todos os seus príncipes, que com o seu poder foram postos com os que foram mortos à espada; estes jazem com os incircuncisos e com os que desceram à cova.

29There {is} Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by {them that were} slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit. {laid: Heb. given, or, put}

30Ali estão os príncipes do norte, todos eles, e todos os sidônios, que desceram com os mortos, envergonhados com o terror causado pelo seu poder; e jazem incircuncisos com os que foram mortos à espada, e levam a sua vergonha com os que desceram à cova.

30There {be} the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with {them that be} slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.

31Faraó os verá, e se consolará com toda a sua multidão; sim, o próprio Faraó, e todo o seu exército, mortos à espada, diz o Senhor DEUS.

31Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, {even} Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.

32Porque também eu pus o meu espanto na terra dos viventes; por isso jazerá no meio dos incircuncisos, com os mortos à espada, Faraó e toda a sua multidão, diz o Senhor DEUS.

32For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with {them that are} slain with the sword, {even} Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
